Kayla was fantastic! Once she explained everything it made so much sense, and I'm already seeing improvement! I'm looking forward to working on what she showed me, and for our next session to add some new skills!

Kayla is amazing at what she does! We have tried different training methods with our dog before but they didn’t work. After our first session with Kayla we already saw a huge improvement in Kodah’s behavior & felt so relieved knowing we finally found the right trainer for us! Kodah is so much happier & relaxed & so are we! We have learned so much & can’t thank Kayla enough for everything she has done!!

Kayla has been wonderful! I’ve completed two sessions with her and have seen a huge difference in my dog’s confidence with sit and stay and on leash! She has also given me so much good info on behaviors, diet, supplies, etc. She is patient and has a great way of explaining new concepts for us! Also very responsive by text. Would highly recommend her, I’ve already recommended Bark Busters to a close friend as well!

The knowledge and expertise Bark Busters Boston North offers is unmatched and I couldn’t recommend their services more. Not only has Kayla been patient with my French Bulldog Enzo, but with me as well - as I learn how to incorporate training into our day-to-day lives. She’s always there to answer questions as they come up, constantly thinking of solutions when Enzo throws us another obstacle, and continues to elevate our experience with her ongoing support.
PermalinkInvesting in this training is investing in the long-term happiness of my pup - which is all I’ve ever wanted! I’d do it again in a heartbeat and look forward to continuing to grow with the help from these amazing people.

Karen is absolutely amazing and so personable. Cedar is almost 4 months old and was chewing on hands and her leash, barking, and just generally thinking she was in charge. Karen walked in and within 5 minutes, she had Cedar calmly sitting beside her. I learned more in 15 minutes with Karen than I did in the months I spent researching on how to train a puppy and prevent/correct bad habits. I can’t recommend Karen enough and I am looking forward to the next training session with her.

We had a wonderfully great experience with Mark at Bark Busters Home Dog Training Northern Virginia. It was absolutely surprising and shocking how effective Mark's techniques worked with our two pups. I did not expect these two cuties to respond so well and immediately to the guidance and leadership Mark showed us. Mark thoroughly covered the psychology of how dogs perceive their world and the dynamics of how they interact and respond. With the tools and techniques Mark gave us, our pups began obeying our space restriction the first day (not rushing the front door when the bell rings, allowing us to pass through doorways first, and stop jumping up on us or visitors when not wanted). We still have some work to do on going up and down stairs and some house breaking, but we're confident now that our pups will succeed at those in short order.
PermalinkMark was attentive to our dog's reaction to the training and adjusted to their personalilites as needed. He answered all our questions and provided fantastic advice and guidance on working with these pups going forward. Best of all, Mark is available to us at anytime to return for adjustments and further training as needed, should issues arise in the coming years.
We are so pleased that we chose Bark Busters Home Training Northern Virginia for our pup's traning because ultimately it's all about making and keeeping these cuties calm and happy in the "Green Zone."
Both of our dogs are rescue dogs from two separate rescue situations. One from Mississippi and one from Texas. They are both very young, one about 6 months old and the other about 4 months old.

Great! Worked through a behavioral issue and learned a lot about controlling dominant puppy related to an older dog.

Scott came out with a class about 4 weeks ago. Prior to that visit I was at my wits end with a newly adopted dog, Tony. He was large, and had a lot of phobias. During the first visit I learned how to get Tony into the car. Scott showed me 3 times, and I was able to get Tony in the car the first visit! We worked on claiming my space and walking on a leash, respectfully matching my direction. I called Scott for a “tune up” and he exceeded my expectations … again. Worth the money, 100%. Scott, thank you. I now have a well behaved dog. Actually, the most well trained dog I have ever owned. Tony is in his forever home. Thanks to you. ❤️
