We highly recommend Heather with Bark Busters! She is a pleasure to work with to train our Roxie Lynn. She tailored our plan to fit the needs of our family. We went from a hyper puppy to a well behaved member of our family! We have learned so much about nutritional needs and animal behavior with her for our girl.

Amazing! Learning how to get my dogs to respect me without using punishment. Amanda is so great and is helping me develop better boundaries and healthy behaviors for my pups. I have 2 great danes and i lost control. Amanda is helping me get it back and i definitely see the light! Highly recommend!!!

She really helps you understand why your dog may be behaving the way they are and helps you with solutions that are achievable and effective to resolve your dogs behavioral problems. We had such a wonderful experience with Bark Busters and our trainer, Jared! As first-time dog owners, we were feeling overwhelmed and unsure about how to effectively communicate with our pup. Jared completely changed that. He taught us how to understand and work with our dog in a way that felt natural and frustration-free.
PermalinkJared was always punctual, professional, and incredibly easy to communicate with. He made sure all our questions were answered--no matter how small--and took the time to explain things clearly and patiently. It's so obvious how much he genuinely cares, not just about the dogs, but about their humans too.
If you're a new dog owner or just looking for a trainer who truly gets it, we can't recommend Jared and Bark Busters enough. He's kind, hardworking, and a total lifesaver. Thank you, Jared!

Jared is amazing! Flexible, knowledgeable, patient and fun too! Our 5 month old Shepherd/Malinois mix is high energy and all teeth at this age. Jared has taught us how to communicate with our pup and what he needs from us. Jared is amazing with this crazy breed, and the dog too! lol

We realized we needed a behavioral trainer when our dog began to occasionally snap at some family members. She had been a bit unruly already but we weren't totally concerned until then. Jared came out to our house and we started with Kali put away. We just kind of talked about the issues we were having with her and what we wish she would see in her. We discussed how some things are trainable and others are personality issues that would need to be more about us controlling the environment. Then we gently introduced her and he got to see her silly craziness in action. I think right off the bat, Jared realized that Kali was walking all over us and that it was causing both her as the dog and us as the owners some anxiety. He taught us how to be the owner and treat her like an actual dog so that she would not feel the need to be the mom protect protecting her little pups. She has become a lot more trainable, less anxious, and brings us a lot more joy. Jared has been coming out regularly to teach us new training techniques as well as checking in to see how we're feeling about her progress. Our biggest thing is that Jared helps us stay accountable with the training. Because it's not a pay per session type of training business model, we know that Jared does this because he enjoys working with dogs and bettering them through their owner. He has been super helpful and we are seeing progress in Kali every day.

Our dog, Bernie, is almost 5 years old and was out of control. Barking, not coming when called, pulling us over when we walked him and being leash aggressive. (Yikes!). We decided to get serious about Bernie's behavior and inquired about Bark Busters. We had other family dogs that were easy to live with, but we were considering re-homing Bernie if things didn't get better. We decided to work with Bark Busters.
PermalinkOur trainer, Ryanne has taught us many strategies to address Bernie's issues and the results have been incredible! We found that the humans in the family needed to be trained to help Bernie become a more pleasant family dog. Having Ryanne work with us, in our home and focusing only on Bernie has made all the difference. We purchased a plan that allows us to call Ryanne anytime throughout the year! Best investment if your dog's behavior is not what you'd like it to be.

Karen was wonderful, kind and thorough. She had our girls calm and immediately stopping barking. Within a few minutes she taught them (and us how to teach them) how to wait when we open a door and only come through it when given the okay. They don't pull on leashes. No more jumping. We are super happy with her training and she has been very diligent about check ins. I love knowing I can lean on her when needed

Kayla is awesome! I recently adopted an Iggy (Piper) who is 3-1/2 months young. She’s extremely energetic, not potty trained and bites everything and everyone due to teething but couldn’t be any cuter. I met with Kayla for several hours. She provided great information, suggestions, is patient and extremely diligent in checking in with me to see how things are going. I’m a work in progress (hard giving tough love by not running to get her every time she whines, but I’m getting better:). Additionally, Piper is getting better with going potty outdoors and when she tries biting, by redirecting her, she refocuses and stops biting.). I highly recommend Kayla for your training needs.

We used Jeri 14 years ago with our golden who showed aggressive tendencies, and she really helped us developed some great skills and tools to help us. We recently adopted two sibling senior dogs who are absolutely wonderful; just needed help in a few areas. Jeri is extremely thoughtful and polite, really understands and listens to your needs and explains everything in great detail. I love how everything that was discussed in the first meeting was then handed back to us in printed form so we can keep reviewing our notes. The weekly emails were super helpful. Our dogs quickly picked up on the commands and in no time we were able to correct some of the behaviors we were working on.
PermalinkJeri was always available to talk or email when needed. I never felt like I was training alone.
We would highly recommend Jeri for anyone who needs to have their dog trained.
