We had great results with our energetic dog. He (our dog) was very receptive to the techniques and approach. The results were immediate. The trainer was courteous, friendly, professional, informative and timely. I liked the training wasn't treat based. Recommend them highly.

Wow! I didn't know what to expect but what an informative and effective initial session! We saw results with Jackson and Marley immediately and we are jumping right in to our daily practice. Jeri is thorough, knowledgeable and encouraging as she walks you through all of the exercises. The paperwork she supplied us with created an easy to follow lesson plan. Highly recommend Jeri and the program!!

Chris worked with us and our 3-year-old Golden Retriever Axel this past spring. We got Axel through a rescue on December 1, 2019. The only history we got was that he was approximately 10 months old and had come into a shelter in Texas as a stray. He had been in the care of several fosters since arriving in Maryland.
PermalinkOur main concerns were Axel’s separation anxiety and his jumping on people. He also had a tendency to pull on the leash during walks and sometimes bark at other dogs unprovoked.
Chris taught us no-nonsense, common sense techniques for dealing with the undesirable behaviors. By the end of our first session, Axel was already responding and changing his conduct! He even seems to find comfort in the expectations and boundaries, making him calmer overall.
We are very pleased and grateful for the knowledge and expertise Chris shared with us, and highly recommend Bark Busters. The training made our furry family member even more of a pleasure to live with!

Our fur baby Precious had really bad door manners. Anytime visitors would come to the house, she would bark non stop and be very anxious. This made having anyone over such a production. Dalila came to our home and showed us how to claim our space and gave us a more effective way to communicate what we wanted to our pup. Very impressed with what we have achieved within the first week! No more incessant barking at visitors! Thank you Dalila for all your help and guidance.

Jef is wonderful at training us!! Oh, and our dog Daisy. Prior to Working with Jef we called our dog “Crazy Daisy”. Now after only a few weeks/lessons Daisy is doing much better. Jef taught us how to interact with her. Daisy is only 9 months old and prior to Jef’s training she thought she was the boss. Now she actually listens. We highly recommend Jef and Bark Busters for training.

Kristyn is an awesome teacher. She was clear, thorough, checked for understanding, & demonstrated/modeled what we needed to do. She also gave expert tips & advice on how to give our three dogs attention, grooming, feeding, & so much more! She helped us set up a successful plan & taught us the intervention skills we needed and we saw immediate results. I have 3 dogs with different issues and she was fantastic in explaining how to train all of them & their specific needs. It was so worth the time & investment! Kristyn is an A+ Trainer, we give her 5 stars and highly recommend her. Thank you Kristyn & Bark Busters!!

Jeri gave us immediate results with the training methods and plan she has laid out for us. She sat with us and gave us a plan that would work for Dempsey as well as ourselves and made it clear that we must do the homework to make sure Dempsey gets the proper training. Jeri was engaging, professional and a pleasure to work with.
