I'm honestly not sure why It's taken this long for me to write a review for Adam. Adam is a gentle giant and sooo good with pups! I've had 2 dogs y train with him and they've both really loved Adam. Adam is so knowledgeable about different problem areas (one of my dogs was reactive on leash and the other had separation anxiety). He knew how to work through both problems and is always quick to respond to my texts. Admittedly, I panic quite easily and always text Adam when I'm freaking out about my dog's behavior - he always calms me down and is very patient with me which I'm so grateful for. I would highly recommend Adam to anyone who is having issues with their pup - you'll leave with a great trainer and a great friend :)

Adam has been working with our schnauzer for over a year now and he has helped us completely turn around all of our dog's bad behaviors.
PermalinkBefore hiring Adam, we couldn't leave our 1 year old dog home alone. We couldn't even close him into a separate room without him freaking out. Adam walked us through the steps we needed to take to make him comfortable with being alone and now we can leave him home for 8 hours without issue.
We love that he is easy to reach for training tips or to help us brush up on the skills he has taught us. We could not have gotten our dog to where he is today without Adam, and we are eternally grateful for his expertise and guidance! Not to mention our pup is a big fan as well and will always try to give him kisses.

I have been working with Adam Kravetz for several months and he's been incredible. My dog is 2.5 years old. He's half border collie, half Doberman and Husky. He's extremely protective inside the home. I wasn't able to have company over without a huge production (aggressive barking) and fear my dog would bite someone.
PermalinkMy dog has seen lots of trainers since he was a puppy. They were able to get him to act politely outside the home. But I didn't have someone who helped me with his behavior inside the home until Adam.
Within the first visit which Adam spent lots of time with us, he taught me exercises to do with my dog and had me practice several times while he was there. I would say after just the second session, there was a huge improvement in my dog's behavior around the home.
Adam is so calm. He has taught me so much in how I interact with my dog . He focuses on my behavior and relationship with my dog. Adam has come over and done training with my elderly mom and my boyfriend so they learn how to best interact with my dog in my home. It has been a huge relief for me. I can't recommend Adam enough.

I highly recommend Patrick, Minnie, and Tom at Bark Busters. Their training techniques are logical, easy to follow, and deliver results quickly. We saw noticeable improvements right away, and their guidance made a real difference for us and our dog Noah! He gave us the tools for canine communication that we were lacking. This has made a huge difference in our household.

**5-Star Review for Mariah Vogeley at Bark Busters**
PermalinkI cannot speak highly enough of Mariah Vogeley and her incredible dog training services through Bark Busters. I have a very smart, high-energy, and stubborn 6-year-old chocolate Labradoodle, and in the summer, I adopted a 5-month-old Black Labradoodle-Shepherd/Husky mix. What I thought would be a straightforward training experience turned into a bigger challenge than I ever anticipated. Despite my previous experience with training my older dog, I quickly realized I was struggling to manage two very strong personalities.
Luckily, I heard about Mariah and Bark Busters from my neighbor, whose dogs had shown significant improvement after just one session. This gave me the reassurance I desperately needed, so I reached out to Mariah, who responded promptly and was able to meet with me right away. From the very first interaction, I knew I was in good hands. I was upfront with Mariah about my awareness of my dogs' intelligence and how I was the one who needed the training.
Our first session was an eye-opener. It lasted over three hours, and Mariah was incredibly thorough in her approach, providing me with practical, easy-to-understand advice. She answered all my questions and reassured me that progress was the goal, not perfection. Over the next few weeks, as I encountered challenges, Mariah was always there for me—whether through text or a quick follow-up call. Her responsiveness and constant support have been invaluable.
One of the most memorable pieces of advice Mariah gave me was during a call before a weekend trip when I was feeling anxious about traveling with the puppy. She simply said, "Remember to have fun, this is supposed to be fun," and it completely changed my perspective. It’s easy to get frustrated during training, and her reminder to focus on the joy of the process has been so important for my mindset.
Since that initial meeting, we’ve had two more sessions with Mariah, and each time, I’ve been amazed by how much more I’ve learned. I honestly didn’t think we could ever get my older dog to stop pulling on walks, let alone walk both dogs side-by-side without pulling. But after our most recent session, we’ve been going on daily walks without any pulling! I even got a call from family friends who were watching the dogs, and they were blown away by how much better they behaved on the leash, particularly my oldest dog.
Mariah’s training has been worth every penny, and I genuinely believe she should be charging triple what she does, given the transformation in both my dogs and myself. This has truly been the best investment I’ve made for my dogs and for my own peace of mind. I cannot recommend Mariah enough. She is patient, knowledgeable, and truly cares about helping both you and your dogs succeed. I’m looking forward to continuing our work together as we tackle any future challenges that come our way. If you’re looking for an exceptional trainer, Mariah is absolutely the one to trust.
Thank you, Mariah, for everything!

We rescued Charlie, our dog, from the SF SPCA when he was 5. After two months with us, his behavior worsened—he became reactive, aggressive, and confrontational, even biting three people who tried to pet him. Despite trying various online courses, self-led training, and other resources, progress was slow or nonexistent. On walks, Charlie would react to every person and dog, leaving us anxious both at home and outside. Desperate, we turned to Bark Busters for help.
PermalinkDan Franco quickly taught us things about Charlie that we never knew. His methods made an immediate difference—Charlie went from aggressive and reactive to calm and obedient in just one day. Now, we can walk Charlie without issue, and he’s often calm enough to ignore other dogs entirely. Dan has truly transformed our lives, and I can’t recommend him enough.
