I'm so happy we went with Bark Busters. Karen does a wonderful job. We contacted her because our Charlie has fear-based aggression and wants to guard. She gave us practical strategies that addressed our concerns. As a bonus, she also helped us with strategies for Chloe's pulling on the leash. We tried other dog training where you learn things you don't care about instead of really helping address the behavior you want to change and I wish we had come to Bark Busters first. Highly recommend!

Positive training for us from Patrick. The tough part is me having 'claim my space' but know it is for the best for Molly. Patrick first came out shortly after my back surgery and did some in-house training for us. The had the most positive outcome when my husband was walking Molly. 3 months after my back surgery Patrick came back out to support me walking me with Molly. Firstly, his training just makes sense & he was patient with me & always giving encouragement to manage the walk in a way that was good for both me & Molly. Patrick listened to my questions & also involved a friend/neighbor who kindly agreed to support the training & work with me, Molly & Patrick. Anyways I just want to give this training today 100% & now looking forward to the best walks ever with Molly. Thank you

Google Review: "Rachel and Betty Lou are the best! They helped me immensely with my dog's reactivity on walks and to be calm when guests are in the home. After just the first day of learning to "speak dog" there was a huge improvement in my puppy's behavior. I cannot thank these two ladies enough for all their help!"

Sharon has shown me in one day what I’ve been trying to accomplish for years. I am absolutely thrilled with what I witnessed today. I have two reactive dogs with separation anxiety and one that lacks boundaries and is incredibly energetic. When people walk by with or without dogs, Gunnar goes nuts, and I was struggling to control the situation and feeling so frustrated. Today I watched him engage and disengage almost instantly as a neighbor walked his dogs by my window. And I watched him respond to the correction multiple times in our session. I also watched my older, reactive dog Riley walk past a plush dog that he first barked and lunged at. With guidance from Bark Buster’s trainer, he calmly walked past without even showing interest in the dog. We also addressed leash pulling. Gunnar is the type of dog who would choke himself to go on a walk and I had tried almost everything to make it stop. Nothing worked until today. I watched my dog slow down, check in with me, and walk behind me instead of pulling me. Sharon taught me things I never would have thought of when training a dog. There’s no use of harsh collars or punishments. I truly believe with our continued practice of these techniques and use of tools that my dogs will become confident, comfortable, less reactive, and less anxious. This was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Thanks to Bark Busters, I now have what I need to help my dogs live a happier life.

The remarkable difference in all 3 of the girls behavior was astonishing. If I was not there to participate I would not have believed the change in the first session. I was so impressed by the training techniques by Orlando.

I wasn't sure if our terrier mix could respond to training at his age (around nine years old), but we saw immediate improvement after just one session with Deb. He now understands that he does not have to bark at every visitor to our house or person we encounter on the street. He seems more relaxed as a result, and so are we.

Deb was great, she taught us as dog parents a lot
PermalinkShe worked with Reiley and she made us realize Reiley is a smart girl and learns quickly. Us on the other hand need a lot of work. But we will do it!!! Thank you Deb

Heather was very professional and her directions were clear and obtainable. I seen progress right away with Molly and Oliver. We even have videos that she sent to us as references.

We’ve only been working with Scott for a little over a month, but the transformation in our dog has been incredible. Before training, our pup was extremely reactive to other dogs, cats, squirrels, bunnies—even some people. Walks were stressful and unpredictable, and we honestly weren’t sure things could change. Scott’s techniques have made a night-and-day difference. He not only gave us the tools to manage our dog’s reactivity, but also taught us how to build calm, consistent habits that stick. Already, we’re seeing huge improvements—what used to trigger an explosion of barking and lunging is now met with much calmer, more controlled behavior. Scott is patient, clear, and encouraging. He really takes the time to explain the “why” behind his methods, which makes it easier for us to follow through and stay consistent at home. It’s obvious he truly cares about both the dogs and their humans, and the results speak for themselves. If you’re struggling with a reactive dog or just want a trainer who brings real results in a supportive way, we cannot recommend Scott highly enough. He’s been a game-changer for us and our dog!
