Photo of Bark Busters, specifically Ryanne Jasmin, has helped train us and our dog in a very clear and specific manner. The methods are easy, respectful and consistent. This has resulted in a happier and more loving relationship with our dog. She provides us with clear feedback while training, is patient with us and makes sure we master the skill before she leaves. She follows up with video clips on the skills, hand outs, and a training log. We are able to contact her when we feel stuck and she gets back to us the same day. The training is paid for as a lifetime of the dog investment, and it is a investment that will be well worth it. Thus as our dog matures and changes we are able to get training as needed. It is also transferable to other Bark Busters should we move. I have tried other trainers and did not make much progress. Within a day we started to see changes and continue to see the changes as we practice the skills and learn more. I highly recommend Ryanne and Bark Busters.

We have 3 dogs (1 older and 2 younger) They are relatively well-behaved around us, however, they had a habit of barking loudly and aggressively at other people. It got to the point that we actually felt we couldn’t have people come over to the house.

We had a a construction project coming up at our house. Knowing there would be different strangers in and out for a period of weeks, we knew it was time to do something. We did some research on dog trainers and after some anxiety and a poor phone experience with a different trainer, we found Ruth at Bark Busters.

Ruth comes to the house which we felt was important. We also saw that there were a lot of positive reviews mentioning her specifically.

Our experience was very positive. I could tell almost right away that not only was Ruth very experienced, but she really cares about dogs and understands them.

The training method is positive for the dog (not negative). It is not cruel and it is very effective. The goal is to train the people in the house to train the dog(s), which appealed to me. Ruth gave us some simple, yet effective tools to help us get the dog’s attention so you can communicate to them what you want them to do.

Her communication is great. She takes the time to be sure you understand what she is explaining. She also strongly encourages clients to text or call her right away whenever there are questions or frustrations.
it is not just lip service, she responds !

Photo of Bo / Louie Josh was amazing with our dogs plus he provided clear and concise directions on how to help us guide are dogs. We noticed a considerable difference in our dogs in the first training session. We look forward to learning new techniques.

Louie and Bo responded very well during our first session. We worked on their overall behavior as well as leash manners and front door manners. Now that Shawna has stepped up as the leader in the home the dogs are able to relax. Louie didn't react to the doorbell for the first time in years!

I was blown away by the results Dalila taught me with my puppy. I had carefully researched all the companies around and Bark Busters was the only one that didn't use shock collars, treats or negative reinforcement of some kind. That checked my first box. Secondly they had great reviews. I had a dog that passed away and I thought I knew how to train a dog but this adorable puppy Jaz and I couldn't get on the same page. In fact, we couldn't even find the paper together! Dalila helped us on basic obedience, uncontrollable barking and jumping all over visitors when they came to the door. I can't wait to see how Jaz and I progress! Oh and the third box is their Lifetime Guarantee. They follow you for the life of your dog!

What a great experience! I'm so excited for the growth of my dog through Bark Busters practices. The training was clear and had immediate results. Scott was amazing to work with and his professional and informative approach made this such a joy. Not to mention the training lasts for life! Not treat or punishment based makes this training the only one I would recommend. So happy for my dog Dash that he can have this wonderful training. If I could give it more stars I would.

    Trainer Note:
Judie has taken charge of her home and now that she has her dogs Dakota and Missy are following her lead. Missy has been struggling with barking in the home because she feels that she has to protect Missy. Judie is now showing Missy she has nothing to worry about because moms got it!

We made the decision to seek out professional help when our otherwise gentle 20-month old Janey started to show signs of aggression towards dogs and people with whom she was not familiar. We noticed that her anxiety, when either of us wasn’t in sight, was also intensifying. Prior to contacting Keith at Bark Busters, we were told by a trainer that Janey wasn’t aggressive, but rather very “defensive.” He believed she needed more intensive behavioral training than he had time to provide and suggested that we enroll her in a 2-week “bootcamp”. We were concerned that a two-week separation could be detrimental and began searching the internet for a local dog behavioral therapist who could also work with us, as we are first time dog owners. That’s when we found Keith at Bark Busters.
Keith’s initial visit to the house lasted several hours. He assessed us as dog owners, reviewed the questionnaire we completed and then met Janey, whose issues with strangers were apparent. Keith was very soft-spoken and positive, which happened to be a perfect approach for her. The next time Keith came to the house, Janey approached him like an old friend.
So far, Keith has made a few house visits and within several weeks of following the agreed upon plan we have seen considerable progress. He has also made himself available to our inquiries via text message or email and always replies promptly. Just recently he agreed to meet us at a neutral location with other family members to assist with introductions prior to an upcoming vacation.
Janey has learned to respect the boundaries set regarding visitors and other dogs with whom she’s come in contact. The excessive pulling during walks is almost nonexistent. By no means is her behavior perfect, but since Day 1, we’ve seen an improvement. We’re confident that we’ll continue to make meaningful strides.
We highly recommend Keith and Bark Busters.

Bailey is a really great pup! We focused on getting her more exercise and stimulation during the day. With Bob taking charge and being the leader now Bailey can relax knowing dads got it. Cheryl was really pleased as well and with them both being consistent, she will continue to improve.
