We’ve been working with Karen @ Bark Busters for about 3 months now. When we reached out to Karen our puppy Remy was about 6 months old. We had success training her on some basics (potty training, sit/stay, etc) but were really struggling to make progress on some larger items. Remy’s friendliness & curiosity often got the best of her when we would take her out on walks. When she wasn’t picking up trash from the sidewalk, you could find her jumping on other dogs or their owners. Yikes! Needless to say, we were frustrated. Karen met us in our home (huge perk) but more importantly took the time to listen & really get to know us & Remy. She catered her training program around our areas of focus & within a couple of weeks, Remy had learned to contain her excitement! We’ve continued regular training lessons with Karen & have been able to move on to more advanced things like airplane behavior & off leash training. Working with Karen has been a dream & it’s so reassuring to know that we have her as a resource throughout Remy’s life!

PermalinkMy husband and I could not be happier that we chose Bark Busters to help us with our German Shepherd puppy! She was out of control, quite the biter and furniture chewer, nervous, nearly impossible to bring outside, and unwilling to listen to us without treats. With only one session, James taught us how to take over as the leaders of our pack and our puppy's behavior improved dramatically! It honestly felt like a miracle because we had been so overwhelmed and discouraged. We're also glad we have their lifetime puppy package because we have so much help to guide us through new challenges that pop up as she goes through all her new puppy phases. With the amount of support you get, the value is unbeatable! With James's help and consistent daily work (that's honestly very manageable!), we are confident she will grow up to be a great dog!

We were shown how to be the "boss" & not to let Sawyer be the alpha dog. Leash training was especially good.

We have a Jack Russell-Blue Heeler mix and Theresa has been a great asset to our family. She came and informed us of what was wrong. It was us not Oreo. She left us with tools that have proven to be successful. And I must say that I realize we are a perfect fit for Oreo.

Theresa Nichols did an amazing job at assisting me train my dog. She spends time discussing any problems I am having. She goes above and beyond her call of duty. She went and purchased everything I needed and set it up. She quick to reply with advice when I having issues with my stubborn pup. Regardless of the time,I she always makes her self available for me. Having her on my side, I am confident that my dog will train and respect me. I highly recommend her. You will not be disappointed.

Our puppy Izzy is a 16 week old Spinone Italiano. She was using my wife as a chew toy. After 2 days of following Michelle’s instructions on how to “speak dog”, Izzy is remarkably better. We highly recommend Michelle Rodriguez and BarkBusters.

Sonja was fantastic! The techniques she told our family immediately worked with our dog. We never believed that with the proper guidance our dog could respond IMMEDIATELY. He went from pulling us down the street to walking at our sides in less than 5 minutes. With the techniques Sonja is teaching us, we can now effectively communicate with our dog!
