I just wanted to thank Bark Busters for the services you provide. I was left in an unfortunate situation with the best young dog (1.1yr). My current situation did not allow for the environment that she needed due to an upstairs apartment and no backyard. She needed and deserved a home where she has better access to develop into the dog she was born to be. Jeff came out days after I realized the situation was going to much more difficult than I imagined. He approached her with his special language, and Fonda took right up with him. She had a difficult time a accepting strangers, but not Jeff. He was available on text and phone calls as needed, or got back to me in timely manner. Just wanted to say, I could have fond no better trainer, Fonda supporter, or expertise anywhere. I appreciate a- job well done!!!

In this session, we went over door manners and leash training as well. I was very satisfied with my experience today. My puppy was so responsive and reactive in this session. Rob was great and explained all steps that were taken.

We reached out to Johnny after getting a rescue dog that was ruling the roost. We were struggling to integrate him with our cat, despite being told that he got along with felines. Our new Mastiff /Great Dane mix was jumping on top of kitchen counters, stealing all food in sight, chasing our cat with a few scary snaps and we'd even suffered several walking injuries from him darting towards animals. (We've had several dogs in the past and consider ourselves athletic, this was just a whole new level of new-pup excitement). Johnny came to the rescue, giving us the skills we needed to tame our boy, and take him from Kujo to Clifford.
PermalinkIn all seriousness, Johnny is extremely knowledgeable and I would recommend him for any training needs, especially when you see the sweetness in a new pet and just need support gaining control. We've met with Johnny several times, and it never feels rushed. He answers every question while in person or through texts and asks just the right questions to get down to the cause of the behavior in order to create a custom plan to correct it. He is not a one-size-fits-all, do-the-same-thing-for-every-client kind of trainer. He truly listens, checks in on progress and gives actionable suggestions that will make you and your pet enjoy each other so much more. Until he came around, we seriously questioned it our new pup would be a fit. Thankfully, our house is much calmer these days. Thank you so much, Johnny!
