Nathan was incredibly professional and easy to talk to. He made me feel confident in his abilities from the get-go. My dog, Mari, has had terrible issues with anxiety, and sometimes, aggression towards kiddos. I came to Nathan because I wanted someone who could save me from having to do the unthinkable with my Mari. Nathan did just that! Mari is a brand new dog. She is no longer submissive or anxious and her demeanor has completely changed around kids. He taught us ways to communicate with Mari to help build her confidence. Thank you a million times over, Nathan!
PermalinkAside from his work with Mari, Nathan’s communication skills were great and his professionalism was incredible. He was easy to get in touch with and never made me feel like I was wasting my time or money.
Overall, the entire experience was fantastic and I highly recommend him!

Where do I even begin? My dog was an absolute disaster when I brought her home from the shelter as a pup and disaster is an understatement! (she had a very rough beginning of life) I have paid more money in the last 2 years than I would have liked trying to find the right trainer for my dog and I have finally found the gold we’ve been looking for. NATHAN IS AN ANGEL SENT FROM ABOVE! I have a completely new dog. She listens and is so well behaved around other people and dogs. Comes when she is called and stays when she needs to. In a matter of 5 sessions!
PermalinkNot to mention the absolute amazing personality and fantastic communication skills Nathan has. I felt like we had known each other for years and it allowed me to let my wall down after being let down numerous amount of times. I know i can always count on Nathan to help guide me with my dog and future dogs.

This type of training is amazing as it speaks volumes to the dogs. They respond quickly and it’s so very simple. Who would have thought! Berry Lou and Rachel are so nice and explain everything so well. Highly recommend them as our dogs have never behaved this well!

After the first session I could see improvement with my puppy. The ladies teach you how to confidently lead your dog without harsh methods. The ladies were also very kind and personable and work to tailor your training to suit your individual needs. Money well spent.

Rachel & Betty Lou are FANTASTIC to work with. We have an 8 month mini Aussiedoodle (Lily Blu) and were having issues with her reacting to walkers, bikers, dogs, golf carts, squirrels, etc. (pretty much anything that moved). She would bark, pull on the leash, and act crazy. I was getting so frustrated and embarrassed…I didn’t want to take her anywhere. I did lots of research and it was very important to me to have a trainer come to our home for training in our natural environment. Luckily, we found Bark Busters and they were awesome to work with from the first point of contact.
Rachel & Betty Lou helped me learn how to communicate more effectively with Lily Blu and I noticed immediate improvement in our first session.
I’ve had a few questions since our first meeting and they have been SUPER responsive and helped talk me through my questions. Homework is key in creating consistency in the training process. It WORKS and we couldn’t be happier.
I took Lily Blu to the boardwalk at the beach today to do some walking with lots of distractions (people, birds, dogs, bikes). She did GREAT and I am feeling much more confident in my ability to be an effective leader.

We are so excited to have received training from Patrick at Bark Busters. Our overall goal was to better communicate with our dogs, and to make them more comfortable with each other. (We added a new puppy, Arlo, to our pack, and he thought he was the alpha. He also had terrible separation anxiety from my husband which made it difficult putting him in his crate without whining, yipping, or barking, or walking him since he was pulling me so much).
PermalinkNot only did Patrick help us better communicate with our pups, but he helped us lay a solid foundation for communicating our expectations with them. It has been a night and day difference! By “speaking dog”, we’ve established WE are the leaders of our pack. Our youngest pup seems to have less separation anxiety from my husband, which makes walking much easier and crate training a dream. He also seems to respond more reliably to our commands.
Even with our older pup, Riley - family members have commended her on not jumping and being much calmer. She has responded so well to this training.
Riley and Arlo both seem to be more comfortable with each other as well, making sure to take lead from us.
All of our problems are not fixed, but it is comforting to know what consistency of this training has brought us in so little time. We are excited to continue on this journey so that our dogs can be happier, and we can live happier lives with them.

Wallace was a pandemic puppy, meaning he was used to me being at home. When I started going back to work 3 days/week, his bad behaviors magnified. Thank goodness for Evan! Not only did he help Wallace with his separation anxiety, but walks used to be a nightmare because of the pulling. After Evan came to my house and gave me the skill set to be a better pup leader, our walks are amazing! Wallace doesn't pull, he listens to my commands and he doesn't bark at other dogs or people. Thank you so much for all your help!

Robert was really informative. I noticed a difference in our dogs' issues within the first 10 minutes he was here which was very surprising. Definitely would recommend Robert to others.
