Michael came out today to help us with some behavioral issues with our dog and he was amazing! Michael was exactly what I was looking for. He was able to confirm that our dog had severe separation anxiety with a strong need to protect me. After spending a little over 3 hours with us our dog was already understanding and making behavioral changes. He had already stopped barking at the doorbell and understood his boundaries. I love the technique they use for correction as well as rewards. I cannot say enough good things. We are very pleased and will recommend him to all our friends. I honestly think the hardest part is going to be training me, not the dog.

Photo of Leigh Ann's friendly, yet leadership abilities, were excellent. She modeled the behavior and coached us how to call commands, leash and other puppy related issues. Our German Shepherd ten-week old puppy kept nipping while teething. The Bitter Apple spray and commands were immediately effective and we need to learn to take leadership to develop a respectful family pet and a service dog in a few years down the road. We were very impressed with the depth and width of expertise Leigh Ann processes. We are so grateful to have decided to have Dakota trained by Leigh Ann.

Pat was very patient and effective for my puppy. We saw a noticeable difference after the three hours of training. We are pleased and have confidence in the techniques he taught us.

Our 8 month old Laberdoodle was running the house. I was so tired of being body slammed and chewed on like a chew toy. I was miserable. Then Risto came to the house and within a few hours I noticed a difference. He showed my husband and I how to train her so she wasn't training us. He came for 2 1/2 hours the 1st visit and an hour once a week after. She is now a wonderful dog and a great member of our family. Our 12 yr old peekapoo no longer growls all day because we have shown her we are in charge instead of Annie. I now enjoy training her as well as living with her. Risto has changed our lives. I can not talk enough about how much I love this training program. If you have a furbaby give him a call.

We’ve been working with Karen @ Bark Busters for about 3 months now. When we reached out to Karen our puppy Remy was about 6 months old. We had success training her on some basics (potty training, sit/stay, etc) but were really struggling to make progress on some larger items. Remy’s friendliness & curiosity often got the best of her when we would take her out on walks. When she wasn’t picking up trash from the sidewalk, you could find her jumping on other dogs or their owners. Yikes! Needless to say, we were frustrated. Karen met us in our home (huge perk) but more importantly took the time to listen & really get to know us & Remy. She catered her training program around our areas of focus & within a couple of weeks, Remy had learned to contain her excitement! We’ve continued regular training lessons with Karen & have been able to move on to more advanced things like airplane behavior & off leash training. Working with Karen has been a dream & it’s so reassuring to know that we have her as a resource throughout Remy’s life!

Photo of Sawyer We were shown how to be the "boss" & not to let Sawyer be the alpha dog. Leash training was especially good.

    Trainer Note:
Hi Alexis - thanks for the kinds words. The first session focuses on getting your basic skills in place. We will be working on Baloo's reactive aggression in the problem solving part of our program.
