Kayla is just wonderful. We have 3 dogs, one being a very special challenge. We are so impressed with his progress! Kayla has given us the tools to manage our pack and we look forward to her continued support. Highly recommend!

Bark Busters has completely changed the way I view dog training. I’ve had the chance to observe their methods in action, and the results truly speak for themselves. What sets them apart is their focus on behavior-based training rather than relying solely on treats, clickers, or obedience drills. You start seeing improvements in your dog’s behavior almost immediately.

The techniques are straightforward and easy for owners to learn and apply, which makes the entire process feel empowering—not overwhelming. It’s amazing to watch dogs become more confident and focused as they find purpose through this kind of mental engagement. They’re not just learning commands—they’re learning how to think and respond. I’d recommend Bark Busters to anyone looking for lasting, meaningful change with their dog!

Our session with Sharon was amazing! The change in our puppy’s behavior feels miraculous but the secret was training me, not the dog. :) I highly recommend Sharon. She was patient and thoughtful. She was easy to work with and full of insight. I love seeing someone love their job, and you can tell she does. Thank you! Our home is much more peaceful and quiet now that our puppy doesn’t think she has to protect us from every single shadow or noise.

Bonnie listens to our concerns and offers simple and effective solutions. Our entire family appreciates her “training” us so that we can be better dog parents.

Photo of Rex Connie was absolutely amazing in training us to work with our new dog, Rex! The office was incredibly prompt and helpful as well! We adopted Rex, a three year old husky mix tripod in April and engaged the services of Connie and Bark Busters about two weeks into welcoming Rex home.

Rex latched onto me immediately as his person and followed me around EVERYWHERE. While I loved the company, it was overwhelming and I could see that he was having anxiety when I even just leave him for a few minutes to go to the restroom. Enter, Connie!

At our first visit, she gathered a lot of info about Rex and our experiences. She focused on the behaviors that we didn’t like and that were harmful or dangerous for Rex and others. He was a bit reactive to new people, especially men, and did appear to have great socialization with people and animals. He’s gotten so much better in just a few months and we saw change after the first visit. Connie was patient, honest, and funny. I think this review could be pages long, so I’ll summarize the benefits here:
    - easy to schedule and good availability. Flexible with appointment days and times.
    - immediate results after first appointment
    - consistent improvement over time with the homework given at each session
    - great follow-up notes from each session with resource and homework
    - easy communication with Connie via text with updates, questions, suggestions
    - love that Connie comes to our house to see Rex in his normal environment with hands on training practice each visit and reasonable homework to follow between visits.
    - Connie focuses on our needs and desires and the safety of Rex and those around him. She’s not going to tell you that letting him on the furniture or sleep in bed with you is bad if you are okay with that. She’s also realistic with what we can and can’t do to get the changes we want.
    - great resources provided like videos, handouts, articles, advice, etc.
    - Connie is SUPER responsive when I text with a question or update.
    - love that this is a lifetime service for Rex so if something changes we can reach out for help at any time.

If you are willing to put in some effort (which was actually less daunting than I thought it would be), you will see results to help you and your dog be happier and safer. Can’t recommend enough!

Thank goodness for Randy, or Burke may have ended up back at the shelter. I live in an apartment, and the neighbors were complaining about the incessant barking. Burke's separation anxiety and anxiety in general was off the charts. Thanks to Randy's methods, Burke is much calmer and can stay at home happily by himself. I really liked that it didn't involve prong collars or anything harsh. 10/10!

Ryan gave us results with both of our dogs the very first day!! We were struggling with new people entering our home and not getting barked at or bombarded with jumping and aggression! He gave us skills that worked right out the gate! We also have been able to take them on walks without fear of barking at other dogs or the constant pulling!! The skills we have learned are invaluable and has made all of us much happier humans and pups!!

Bark Busters and Johnny, our trainer is AMAZING! He takes time to listen to the client and time to get to know your pup. He was patient, caring and easy to learn from. My girl had some "issues' from previous owners (3) prior to me rescuing her. Johnny was excellent at evaluating our situation, and helping me to learn how to help my girl gain confidence, deal with some behavioral issues and relax in her new home with me. ALL of Johnny's instructions are clearly explained, and practiced while he is here. We never feel rushed, but rather that we are his only concern. Each visit is productive, and addresses behaviors as they arise. Once you have established your training needs, he is readily available, quick to respond to text and make appointments to work on specific things as time goes on. I couldn't be happier and I recommend Johnny 100%!!

(Lengthy but TRUE!) Chris is amazing! I adopted my 5-year-old Pitbull in November 2024. He came with a troubled past—and the scars on his face told part of the story. Despite that, I could see he was a sweet dog who just needed some extra care and structure. I reached out to Bark Busters when I was at a breaking point. My dog had already attacked my boyfriend twice, and I was seriously considering returning him to the shelter. That’s when Chris stepped in and truly changed everything. The in-home training with Chris gave us the tools and techniques we needed to succeed—not just inside our home, but out in the real world too. With consistency and dedication, my dog has come such a long way. He now listens well, respects boundaries, and sees me as his leader. I really appreciate that Chris’s methods don’t rely on e-collars or any harsh tools. It’s all about communication and leadership, which has made a huge difference. Chris has also been incredibly supportive outside of our sessions—always just a text or call away when I need guidance. Thank you, Chris, for helping us turn things around. I truly couldn’t have done this without you!
