Thank you so much to Deb Boswell for her helpful training and information. Chance had bitten me so many times I was terrified of him. Thanks to Deb, we now have a pet we are proud to have in our home.

Ruby has developed into a well behaved lovable dog thanks to Bark Busters training. Ruby is our third Hungarian Kuvasz, a breed known for being independent and strong willed, but we were concerned when she showed signs of aggression as early as three months old. Our vet recommended Bark Busters and we're glad we took his advice. Ruby is a different dog today than she was six months ago. She shows no aggression and has turned into a sweet, loving girl.
PermalinkMaureen taught us how our behavior affected Ruby's behavior and the importance of showing Ruby that we are the pack leaders. We also appreciate now that training is a life long commitment. Ruby still has room for improvement but she is generally a well behaved dog that obeys most commands today. That's a significant transformation considering where we started.

Having Terry around as a trainer and therapist (to we, the people), was an essential step and enormous asset to the merging of our families, both canine and human. As soon as Terry arrived at the door, the two new doggie roommates just settled down.
PermalinkOur Ms. Nickerson is a master in the subtle art of teaching by example, blended delightfully with scolding the silly owners, as we blithely went on teaching our puppies bad habits.
From learning how to walk the dog, as opposed to the reverse, to the usage of body language and vocal tone, Terry guided us through some "parenting differences," which ultimately resulted in an extremely harmonious home. Just learning how to assert just who is whom in the alpha behaviour dynamic, seemingly a no-brainer, has been of invaluable help.
There is a plethora of great information out there about Barkbusters, and I really am very grateful that it is Terry who is OUR behavioural therapist.
What a blessing. Just be prepared to do your homework!
Thank you, Terry

So pleased to have happy dogs that understand how they should behave and follow directions. I used to be dragged down the street when we walked; now the dogs walk on either side of me and we all have pleasant adventures, in the city.

John Sullivan was very thorough. John was willing to listen to us and spend as much time as we needed.

Hey Pete. Thanks for the advice for Missy. Her aggressive issues are almost completely gone (only around other dogs now), but its a relief. She doesn't have issues with people anymore, thanks!

Our first lesson was very informative and I found the information easy to understand. Our therapist was extremely knowlegable and was able to demonstrate each technique until I understood. Overall, I think we had a very successful first lesson and am looking forward to more lessons in the year to come.
