The first lesson with Jeri outlined the training process and established responsibility for using the bark buster technique for modifying dog behavior. After just one lesson I could see improvement in my puppy’s behavior. Some of my dog’s behavior will be difficult to modify because of physical limitations, but I’m confident in the long run that consistently using the program will yield the desired result. The first lesson presents a lot of information, but it all made a lot of sense and now it’s a matter of execution.

Natalie with Bark Busters is terrific to work with and has made a huge difference in only 2 visits. She very helpfully explained the reasoning behind some of his behaviors and showed us how to immediately make a correction. Not only have we seen a difference in Blayze, but our confidence and comfort levels have improved as well. Katsu never would walk on my left side until today. Unbelievable! Katsu would bark at dogs & people and today he stopped barking after a few minutes of training.

I'm going to be 100% honest here. I was a bit shocked by the price and having to pay up front, but with other trainers in the area this was actually the cheaper option and didn't come with a lifetime warranty so we agreed and hoped for the best. When Doug showed up for the first training session and went over the program, I was very skeptical and thought we had wasted our time and money. The training sounded to easy to work and I thought our dogs were to stubborn and just going to ignore it. He was here for about 2 hours and we went over stay, leave it, fighting, and recall. THE CHANGES WERE IMMEDIATE!
PermalinkThe second session was dedicated to pulling and again we noticed drastic differences immediately in all 3 dogs! Our dogs get along much better now and we can actually take them on walks without them pulling or us having anxiety of coming across other dogs. The training plan is easy to follow and quickly became 2nd nature. I'm SO glad we went with Doug and Bark Busters. It has definitely been worth every penny!

Sharon is truly a master at training and has taught me the importance of “speaking dog”. I have a completely new understanding of how to communicate with all of our dogs, but it’s been transformative for our new addition to Stella, who is 1. It will take a lot of practice and consistency, but I saw immediate improvement following Sharon’s visit. The dogs know I’m different. We have three, so my communication is very important. Sharon is kind, compassionate, and very patient. She has also responded to every follow-up question I’ve had and continues to offer support. I am so grateful for my experience with Sharon and love this method of training that is about the trust bond between you and your dog and not about treats or clickers! I am so glad I trusted Sharon to teach me!! I highly recommend Bark Busters Pinellas!!!
