We gained lots of new information and got a refresher on previous training. We saw a dramatic change in both our dog's behavior very quickly after the tools we were given.

We absolutely love our 5 month old Cavapoo, and we always knew the stigma behind little dogs barking, but we were not mentally prepared for just how much our little furbaby loved to talk (he gets that from his mama).
PermalinkBetween the puppy teething bites, sled dog walks, terrorizing the mailman, and little dog ego, we knew we needed help.
We called Sharon with BarkBusters, and she is an absolute game changer. At home training, No treats, No Tricks needed.
Our furbaby is 6lbs of fierceness, and like his dad he wants to establish dominance in everything he does, including over our 2 cats and the entire household.
In just one visit, Sharon taught us to think like a dog and how to lead the pack. Learning how to actually say NO in a language dogs understand has been groundbreaking for us. We’ve had dogs before, but we learned more in one session with Sharon than we did in a lifetime on our own. The future is so bright for our puppy Oliver, and we have Sharon and Barkbusters to thank for that!

Scott at Bark Busters is incredible.
PermalinkI was blown away at how effective our first session was at correcting dominating and reactive behavior with my anxious 5-year-old cattle dog, Dallas.
No treats, shock callers, or clickers necessary! I’d recommend Scott and Bark Busters to anyone that needs assistance training their dogs

I have a dachshund that barks at everything and is extremely stubborn. Halfway through his first session with Patrick, his barking was "solved". I was actually worried that my stubborn, anxious pup was upset that he was being corrected but I later realized that he is just CALM and im not used to seeing that. 100% recommend. If you keep an open mind, and commit to changing the way you act with your pup, the results are literally instant. I cant wait for my next visit. Thank you, Patrick!

It only took day 1 to see a difference in our dogs. Patrick is the real deal. If you have been feeling lost or resentful towards your dogs like I have I strongly suggest Patrick with Bark Busters!

James has helped me become a happy dog owner and my fur baby, Laney, a happier and calmer dog. Laney is a shelter rescue. When I first adopted her, she had no connection to the person on the other end of the leash. Pulling wasn’t the only issue; she was highly reactive around other dogs. I'm a shelter volunteer and had walked her numerous times and she never reacted around other dogs. But after a couple weeks of having her, that changed. It got so bad I dreaded walking her. I watched dog training videos online, read a Cesar Milan book and not much changed. What I liked about Bark Busters is that they work with you and your dog. So many places want you to hand over your dog for training. That made zero sense to me. James’ training methods are thoughtful and kind. And he respects an owner’s dog-training desires and the dog’s personality. What I learned about dogs and training from him is invaluable. What Laney has learned is that she can walk right by my side, enjoy her walks, and feel safe.

Claudia and I were looking for a professional to help us with our new family member, Mattie, a 4 year old Yorkie.
PermalinkShe is a wonderful addition to our family and, as I hadn't had a dog for the past 40 years and Claudia has never had the opportunity to have a pet, we needed some professional help.
We ran across Bob from Bark Busters who had incredible reviews from the people he has helped, and we have to add our praise as well.
Bob is very patient, knowledgeable, and we couldn't be more pleased with the help he provided us.
Maddie is a very good girl, but Bob helped us understand her behavior and, even more importantly, how our actions and reactions to her could provide a much more enjoyable and meaningful relationship.
We unconditionally recommend Bob who helped Maddie become a more trusting and loving member of our family and, perhaps more importantly, make us better parents.
If you have similar need to ours, you need to look no further than Bob.

2 sessions in and so far so good, no miracle fixes as it does take time to complete the big picture (but we feel happy and are having fun with the progress) and it should be noted the method is to train the humans to lead. It is very interesting and eye opening when you start to realize how much you inadvertently allow your pooch to lead.
PermalinkOur trainer is Erin Miller and she seems very passionate and knowledgeable, a person that seems to want to know each clients individual needs and is very easy to work with.

Moose and I had our first training session with Bonnie she was wonderful! Moose still needs a lot of work, but I am hopeful that the more work we do with Bonnie, and the more comfortable he becomes with our new home that he will be much calmer and happier. Thank you Bonnie!
