We recently had our first visit with Kayla, for our 10 month old lab, River. Kayla was friendly, knowledgeable and professional! Not only was she able to teach us positive training strategies for our girl, she was able to educate us on what is most healthy for River to be eating, to keep her happy and healthy! It was amazing to see the progress during the first visit, River responded so well to the different techniques. Kayla answered all questions we had and continue to have. We look forward to our next visit with Kayla!

I first met Kayla 3 years ago after I adopted a girl puppy from Puerto Rico who needed help !! She had really bad anxiety and always seemed so scared. She was also a jumper and would steal food off counters. I knew she needed help !!
I did so much research trying to find the best fit for us and it was well worth the time spent!!
As soon as Kayla entered the house and got to know Josie she already knew she was a good puppy !! We focused on how the trash trucks scared her and she would hide under my desk shaking. We also worked on her pulling me during walks or even bringing her out for a walk or to the bathroom. I was taught so many techniques that helped Josie so much !! Kayla has been there for me whenever something happened with Josie. She reassured me when I was struggling !! She taught me to be the leader and it worked !!
Welp I get a 2nd dog from Aruba. He was 6 months old when I got him so I knew he would need a lot of training. I was doing my best but he’s a big dog. 2 times larger than my first. I got lost in training him. I needed the reminder and confidence that I could be his leader. Cooper is a jumper and has knocked me over a few times. He also barks so much and scares all my daughter’s friends. I get it he’s massive but he’s just a big baby.
I reached out to Kayla and in one visit she retrained me and my family that we are the leaders. She showed me how to keep Cooper from not jumping and be more welcoming !! It took me a day or so but he no longer jumps on me and when people enter the house he is learning to greet them in a friendly matter !!
After the session was over I cried !! I felt all she did to help us will make his life better and ours !! I was in control again and it’s been such a difference in my house !!
She’s amazing and my life wouldn’t be a happy dog family house without her !!!
Our dog’s breed: Some mix of herder (Aussie/Border/Whatever else). 50 pounds. Gentle, smart, intense, AND has an overwhelming territorial aggression. Will attack visitors.
First off this will sound like a fake testimonial, but after *one lesson* with Randy we have control of our dog’s intensive aggression toward people coming to our house. This is a situation that has basically kept us (and our college age kids) from inviting anyone over, ever. Levi would instantly attack and go for the bite. Randy helped us understand dog brain and instead of using devices to try to break the behavior, Randy used Levi’s natural instincts help us establish dominance and control. Randy gave us strategies based on our particular needs and living space. The strategies are easy to use and remember and are humane. It is day 2 and we’ve had two unfamiliar visitors already. We used Randy’s strategies and Levi was calm and in control and looking to us for direction. If I didn’t see it I wouldn’t believe it. At first, I outright told Randy I was skeptical and didn’t think anything would work. He said I’d see results after one lesson and he delivered big time. This was a life-changer—no exaggeration. If you are hopeless about your aggressive dog *hire these trainers.*

After trying multiple rounds of group training without my issues being resolved, I reached out to Bark Busters after hearing about them from a friend. I just had my first training session with Randy and am feeling way more relieved. He kept the training fun and engaging, while also making necessary corrections to both myself and Hunter. He even got my “ not the one that goes to training” mother involved. Our first session flew by and I feel more confident going into our future sessions. I would totally recommend Bark Busters for all training needs and definitely worth the money knowing they will always be available for Hunter for years to come.
When I thought all hope was over....Randy came to our rescue. Well worth every penny and so happy that we called. My sweet dogs in one session have shown great improvement. Thank you Randy for your expertise.

For anyone with a new dog or a dog that needs some training (without treats) Bark Busters Home Dog Training Boston North is DEFINITELY the people you need! I did not believe you could train a dog without treats until Randy came to our home for the initial training. My Riley had the basic training in the past, but we were still having a lot of issues (and barking) that made it unbearable when we had guests over and she was a very reactive dog while on her walks. I am telling you right now! It's been less than a week and I can already see a HUGE improvement! My Riley is a completely different dog! She listens, is patient and less reactive! She's still her lovable self! I have learned that she LOVES training...she thrives off of it! And in return she's more confident! I can't say enough good things about Bark Busters! The best ? you'll ever spend! Thank you Randy!
Where do I begin?! Just 4 weeks ago my Husband and I thought we would have to put our Furbaby Son down. Due to an unfortunate situation that caused him to act inappropriately out of fear. Instantly when we met Kayla, I knew she was THE ONE for our situation. She instantly made it feel that everything was going to be alright. Just days before we were sobbing thinking there would be no other choice than having to put our beloved dog down. By the end of our first meeting with Kayla, we noticed a huge difference in our Dogs demeanor. After just four weeks he's a completely different dog. He's 80% less anxious. He listens to us. He looks up to us as his leaders already. For once, I see a light at the end of a long winding tunnel. For once we see our lives being less isolated. Being able to have friends/family over and not having them scared of a reactive dog. He now just lays on the ground while we socialize with our favorite humans. Thank you Kayla and Randy! I can't wait to see our Zion grow into the dog he was always meant to be. You literally saved his life.
Kayla was fantastic! Once she explained everything it made so much sense, and I'm already seeing improvement! I'm looking forward to working on what she showed me, and for our next session to add some new skills!
Kayla is amazing at what she does! We have tried different training methods with our dog before but they didn’t work. After our first session with Kayla we already saw a huge improvement in Kodah’s behavior & felt so relieved knowing we finally found the right trainer for us! We were in crisis with our new rescue dog as soon as we got home from picking up 1 year old Charlie. We reached out to Bark Busters at 3am on Christmas Eve and received a phone call first thing the day after Christmas. Kayla was at our home the next evening. Charlie was loving my wife but aggressive toward me. One session with Kayla and we were sure Charlie could love all of us. Kayla gave us the knowledge to understand Charlie and to correct his behavior. A lot of work still to do but the fear and anxiety we all had (including Charlie) is significantly diminished. The knowledge and expertise Bark Busters Boston North offers is unmatched and I couldn’t recommend their services more. Not only has Kayla been patient with my French Bulldog Enzo, but with me as well - as I learn how to incorporate training into our day-to-day lives. Kayla has been wonderful! I’ve completed two sessions with her and have seen a huge difference in my dog’s confidence with sit and stay and on leash! She has also given me so much good info on behaviors, diet, supplies, etc. She is patient and has a great way of explaining new concepts for us! Also very responsive by text. Would highly recommend her, I’ve already recommended Bark Busters to a close friend as well!

Randy was awesome! As soon as he taught us how to communicate with our dog Brody, we saw instant results. The very next day Brody was a much calmer dog. He’s very protective of his little sister. But now he’s understanding that he doesn’t have to be on guard 24/7. Randy is a super nice guy and easy to work with. Highly recommend him and Bark Busters.
Before bark busters I was anxious to have my dog around new people or even people my dog has met before and my dog was also anxious to be around new people
I knew my dog wasn’t “aggressive” but I didn’t know how to help his or my anxiety
He would nip at people without any noticeable trigger and became unpredictable with people and his actions
Talking to bark buster before even meeting them made me feel validated and also agreed that my dog was not “aggressive” but anxious and misunderstood

We have nothing but great things to say about Bark Busters Boston North! We have a sibling rivalry issue between two of our 3 female dogs, and Randy figured out WE were actually the issue. So far in two sessions (3 weeks) we’ve seen a massive improvement in our dogs moods, and obedience. Well worth the price for piece of mind!!

We called Bark Busters in a panic after our 3 year old dog Dallas was not adjusting well to our newborn. From training one we have felt so comfortable and confident with the training Kayla has shown us. Our dog received the absolute bare minimum of puppy training and we really thought that we just had to live with his behavioral issues (excessive barking, reactions to other dogs and anxiety) and lack of obedience. We have seen such improvements in our dog from the first training. He is now so confident with other dogs when we are outside and we feel much more comfortable with him around our baby. We are so grateful we can call Kayla with issues as they arise. This is a financial investment but it has completely changed our lives for the better and owe it all to Kayla at Bark Busters.
We rescued our puppy Swayze from Mississippi. As anyone who rescues can tell you, you never really know what you’re pups behaviors with be. Swayze had started to become very territorial on walks and within our home. Living in a dog filled apartment complex we found ourselves avoiding people with their dogs and not having company at the house. That was when we reached out to Bark Busters.
Kayla came and heard about our issues and saw them in affect. She explained to us why these things were happening and helped us navigate a path towards correcting them. The best part was that all the training techniques were molded to work with our everyday life. After only 3 visits with Kayla Swayze has become a completely different pup in all the best ways. Kayla even met us at a public park to see her progress on walks. Kayla helped show us how to introduce new people into our home and now we are no longer hesitant to have company over. All of our guests have noticed her incredible improvement and it’s all thanks to Kayla and Bark Busters. We are grateful bark Busters provides continued support through text or calls with any questions or concerns that can occur in the future. That helped solidify our choice in Bark Busters.
It's been a mere 36 hours since Randy visited our home to start our training plan for Maverick (9 y/o lab) and SkyWalker (14 m/o boxer) to become the best dogs they can be and the improvement we've seen already has been life changing. Really - we saw the change and positive responses from our pups the very next morning - in both their behavior and our relationships with them. Barking, jumping, rushing for food/treats, separation anxiety and more were making it difficult to fully enjoy our beautiful babies. The good in them is great. The bad in them was horrific but Randy and his system WORK! I was skeptical about teaching our old dog new tricks... But Randy listened to our needs and provided practical guidelines and tools that are productive, nurturing, safe and effective. We can't wait for the next training session and we will NEVER look anywhere else for help with our dogs!

I have nothing but good things to say about Bark Busters. Randy was awesome! He is very easy to work with, very informative, and a nice guy. I have used a trainer prior to Bark Busters who used shock collars, Randy advised us not to use one and came to our home and taught us the training methods on leadership. Our Skye is not anxious, she is more calm and enjoyable to be around. We highly recommend Bark Busters!
