Dog behaviors I am often called in to help solve for include:

• Aggression. Your dog wasn’t born aggressive. Learn why your dog acts aggressively towards food, toys, humans, other dogs, and how to change that behavior.

• Barking. Dogs often bark to communicate. We teach you to “speak dog” to help you communicate with your dog without all the nuisance barking.

• Digging. Tired of your garden or lawn being torn up? Digging is a common behavior for many dogs. Teach your dog to stop digging.

• Jumping. Your dog's jumping can be both annoying and dangerous. Avoid the embarrassment of having your dog jump on guests with our in-home training.

• Leash pulling. Take your dog for a walk without being pulled! Focus and good leash manners can be taught, and practice is helpful and healthy!

• Separation anxiety. Help you dog feel comfortable with being home alone.

I have always had a passion for helping animals. Before moving to Columbus, I grew up in Northern California and Sweden, and was raised in the company of dogs of all breeds. I have walked, boarded, and rescued dogs.  I certainly know what it's like to live with happy dogs and what it takes to help our canine companions be happy, well-behaved dogs.

Fortunately, my Aunt is a Master Dog Trainer with Bark Busters and before moving to Columbus, I spent a number of years training under her careful guidance. My brother is also a Dog Trainer with Bark Busters. This is a family business and it is where my passion lies!

I have attended dog training lessons where dog owners were ready to surrender their dogs to shelters and Bark Busters dog training methods and advice allowed these families to keep their beloved pets by resolving severe dog behaviors. I have seen aggressive dogs that suddenly lost their fears and barking dogs become quieted. I have seen first-hand the pleasure and fulfillment of assisting and teaching dog owners how to better communicate with their dogs, resulting in a happier home for both dogs and dog owners!

Since making my home in Columbus, Ohio as a Bark Busters Certified Dog Trainer & Dog Behavioral Therapist, I am blessed daily with the opportunity to help dogs and their owners find and experience companionship, loyalty, respect, fun, and love.
