We recently welcomed a new fur baby into our home, and I was incredibly anxious about how our 10-year-old dog would react. When he began showing signs of distress and aggression, I felt overwhelmed and genuinely questioned whether I had made the right decision. I was nearly in tears, feeling lost and unsure of what to do.
Enter Kayla—an absolute godsend.
From the moment she walked through our door, she immediately got to work. Her calm demeanor, deep knowledge, and intuitive approach put us at ease right away. Within minutes, she was working hands-on with both dogs, helping to shift the energy and dynamics in such a positive direction. She spent over 2.5 hours with us, offering not only immediate guidance but also practical tools, tips, and even healthy treat recommendations.
Amazingly, within 24 hours of her visit, our home already feels more peaceful. Our older pup is noticeably calmer and more accepting of the new addition, and I feel empowered and hopeful moving forward.
Knowing that Kayla is available for follow-up questions and support until her next visit brings me so much comfort. She’s truly remarkable at what she does, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her help during such an emotional time.

Kayla at Bark Busters Home Dog Training Boston North has the perfect personality to help new dog owners gain confidence with their pup. She is kind, compassionate, fun, patient and very knowledgeable. In just a short amount of time and training we are already seeing improvement in our 4 month old puppy's behavior. He's heeling much better on the leash and not jumping up on us as much. We're feeling empowered and enjoying our little fluff ball a lot more because of Kayla. We highly recommend her.

We've been putting in to practice all of the daily activities and exercises and are continuing to see great progress with my 2 year old mini-dachsund, Riley. There’s a solution for everything and we always have a great time learning from Kayla - she makes it fun and is a patient and skilled teacher. The health and wellbeing of the dog is her number one priority which we fully align with her on, and she helps us not just with classic “obedience” training (although it doesn’t feel like obedience, it feels like communicating with our dog), but also nutrition and interacting with our baby and anything else we have questions on. We love our dog so much and want the best for him and Kayla is the best!
