We're so grateful to Kayla and Barkbusters. We started working with Kayla when our three-year-old hound princess began aggressively guarding our house and being hostile to some of the dogs we encountered on walks and at the beach. As a result of our work with Kayla, we've seen enormous progress. Our dog is happier and more relaxed, and so are we. With previous dogs, we worked with other trainers, with mixed results. The major differences we found with Barkbusters - 1) We saw immediate, positive results, while building a foundation for a better long-term relationship with our dog, 2) We learned how to establish control without the harsh discipline, shock collars, etc., that other trainers had used, 3) Home visits - essential. Kayla's assessment of our dog's behavior in her own environment was key. She took a lot of time asking us questions, observing our dog's behavior, and understanding our home life and the factors that might be leading to or contributing to the behavioral issues. 4) The lifetime guarantee - they really mean it. About a year after our initial work with Kayla, we adopted another dog. To our dismay, our princess immediately decided the new hound would not be tolerated in her home. Kayla was back two days later, and set us on path for acclimating the two dogs that resulted in them being good buddies within a few short weeks. Highly, highly recommend!!
My husband and I thought we were going to have to have our 2 year old dog euthanized, following 3 incidences where he attacked another of our dogs. That’s how bad things were before Randy saved our family! We were mortified at this and desperate for help. We cannot believe how incredible Randy was at helping us. Kayla was such a big help with my puppy Jack. He was a rescue dog that I didn't have a background on. She helped me with crate training, walking on leash, biting, chewing, barking, jumping, everything! Jack respects me now all thanks to Kayla!

Kayla and Randy helped me with my German Shepherd. She was pulling on leash and had separation anxiety. Most trainers use shock collars or prong collars especially when it comes to shepherds and I was glad that they do not use these methods.
Although our journey with Kayla has just begun with our dog Jack, we have already seen improvements from the recommendations and guidelines Kayla has given us. She is very understanding and answers texts at all hours when questions arise. My wife and I as well as our dog Jack are grateful that Kayla is part of our family going forward. Our whole family (dogs and humans) benefited and we learned to guide and change the puppy patterns of behaviors like barking, pulling and jumping issues , to feeling a healthy and calming sense of control!!

We originally called in a panic as we had brought home a new baby and our sweet boy Dallas was not reacting well. From day one we have felt so comfortable with kayla as we navigate training. Dallas received the minimum of obedience training as a puppy and we thought we would just live with his behavioral issues (anxiety, excessive barking, etc) but kayla has shown us that he can be a great, confident dog as long as we do our part as leaders. Every day we see improvements in our boy and we are so grateful we can call Kayla with any concerns as they pop up. This is a huge financial investment but it has been worth every single penny.
