Welcome. I am Elaina Ehrhart, a certified dog behavioral therapist and dog trainer for this amazing international company founded more than thirty years ago in Australia.

I have grown up with dogs my whole life and have a passion for helping animals. I was born and raised in Northern Nevada where I attended the University and graduated with a degree in public health.

When I was given the opportunity to join the Bark Busters family, I couldn't resist, and I haven’t looked back. I am thrilled to continue my career so close to home and have the opportunity to expand my community and help you live in harmony with your dog.

I understand that you need a technique that fits your lifestyle and I am ready to help you gain a better relationship with your dog. I am passionate about teaching you to be the best leader to make your dog feel safe in its natural environment.

I conduct in-home, private, behavioral and obedience dog training customized to your goals, and your dogs issues and needs. Training is done in your home where your dog is more relaxed, there are less distractions, and where most problems occur. Our clients see results in the very first session!

I partner with my pet parents. I train dog owners, not just dogs! My goal is to solve the communication barrier between you and your dog! I work with you to help you become your dog's leader - teaching and guiding you to use dogs' natural communication methods including voice tones and body language.

I use dog-friendly methods. Bark Busters only uses positive and humane training techniques. Negative reinforcement such as shock collars, prong collars, or punishment often results in a more aggressive dog. We also don't believe in unnecessary treat training.
