Jared is an incredible trainer. With just one session I was able to see such a change with my adopted pup. Words cannot describe how safe and at ease he made me and my dog feel. There was so much anxiety for both of us. I’m a completely new dog owner with little to no experience. And right from the beginning Jared was patient, professional, and really took the time to learn and explain my dog’s behavior and our specific concerns.

I had some concerns about leash training and how my dog responded to visitors at the door. Jared guided us with step by step approaches that were easy to follow. And almost immediately after our first visit, I started noticing behavioral changes with my dog. I even noticed the changes on our walks. The tips and techniques regarding leash training was so helpful. Things that I never even thought would affect my dog’s behavior, Jared brought to light. He made the whole process feel manageable and truly gave me tools to build my confidence and my relationship with my pup.

It’s clear Jared truly cares about the dogs he works with and their families. He’s passionate about what he does, and I’m so grateful for his help and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an effective and compassionate dog trainer.

Working with Jared from Bark Busters has been an amazing experience. He brings a calm, understanding approach and takes the time to really listen and tailor his guidance to your specific situation. One thing that stood out to me is how much emphasis he puts on teaching *us* how to communicate with our dogs effectively, which makes the results stick long-term.

Before his help, having guests over was nearly impossible—our dogs would get overwhelmed and reactive. Now, we’re able to host gatherings without worry, and the difference in their behavior is night and day. It’s been such a relief to see them more relaxed and balanced.

The progress we’ve made feels huge, and it’s all thanks to Jared’s thoughtful and practical training style. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for real, lasting change.

We’ve worked with Bark Busters in the past and recently had a refresher session, and I’m so grateful we did. The lifetime support model is truly real—and incredibly valuable.

We focused on leash reactivity and door rushing with my three dogs, and Jared the trainer was fantastic. He gave clear, practical tools that I could immediately start using, and I already feel more confident managing situations that used to feel overwhelming.

What I especially appreciated was how calm, supportive, and non-judgmental the whole session felt. It wasn’t just about the dogs—it helped me feel more in control and capable as well. Because it's not the dogs it is me who needs the training so I can communicate more effectively to my pups and he helped me do exactly that.

If you’re on the fence, I can honestly say this training works—and the ongoing support makes it worth every bit!!

    Highly recommend!

My wife and I are a first time dog owners and we're very worried about training our dog from puppy when we got the puppy last year. Working with Jared was definitely a good decision we made. Jared is incredibly patient and truly understands dog behavior on a deep level. Each time after training the dog behaves noticebly better. Jared teached us a lot of ways to communicate with our dog that we would never figured out by ourselves.

Plus, he has been our dog sitter too and have been a wonderful sitter. We couldn't recommend him more!

Jared was great! He helped us navigate a very difficult situation. He was responsive, knowledgeable, effective, kind, and flexible. Years ago, I had extensive training as a service dog trainer. Though my skills are a little rusty! Needless to say, I have a very high bar when it comes to what I expect from Dog Trainers. Jared was excellent with the dogs and with us the humans. The situation involved an aggressive dog that was being fostered after the fires in LA. The dog was not getting along with the other dog in the house; was running out of the yard; was charging at humans. So he helped us making the dogs, children, and neighbors be safe during this tense time. Thanks Jared!

Photo of Our two female dogs recently broke into a bad fight out of nowhere. My husband and I got worried because we were going to our trip in the beginning of February and the fight happened literally on Christmas night.

My husband told me to quickly call trainers around the area to figure out the best estimate and best advice for the issues we were facing. I literally cried because we have had these two girls being sisters to each other for 6 years with no sign of aggression to suddenly be fighting and not being able to be in the same room.

I called a few places and got a hold of Jared. When I spoke to him on the phone he was the only person that was not trying sell me something right away. He was honest with me hoping that we didn't need to pay for the service because he was hoping a quick back to normal between them.

I told my husband that we will hired Jared when we need him. And we did! It has been a great training experience for us. Jared has been well in giving us tips and advices. He helped us bringing our dogs back to normal pretty quickly too. Now they are back to normal that I somewhat felt that I was gaslit by my dogs.

We are excited to continue using Jared of our dog training for the whole year and glad that we found someone who is genuinely forthcoming with their training and services without trying to just upsell us!

We are really happy with the results of our dog training. Our dog is a mature dog not a puppy and it was challenging to correct her behavior. However Jared gave us plenty of advice and exercises to practice in order we could learn how to demonstrate our leadership and lead the dog. She is much calmer and less pushy now with her behaviors, for example no more begging for food, less whining and no more jumping on the couch without permission. We also find the format of occasional follow-up sessions very useful to maintain good behavior and help her improve. It was invaluable that Jared also brought his own dog to practice pack walks together with our dog, it was a game changer in her leash performance, paying attention to us and staying calm in close proximity to another dog.

Photo of We’re experienced dog owners, but Clementine completely humbled us. We adopted her, as a puppy, thinking she was a small-breed chihuahua mix, but it turns out she’s about 80% working dog (Malinois, Border Collie, Shepherd) and only 20% chihuahua…which explains a lot in hindsight. One day, the world became terrifying to her. We couldn’t walk down the street or have people in our home and were honestly losing hope. She was reactive to everything, and despite months of training on our own, nothing helped. I also have an energy-limiting disability, which made her extreme protectiveness even harder to manage. We were running out of options.

Hiring Jared from Bark Busters was our last resort and the best decision we made. Clementine has done a complete 180. We went from not being able to walk down the street or have visitors to hosting family and taking her to crowded restaurants. Jared’s approach is practical, grounded in how dogs actually communicate, and it works. We went from feeling helpless to confident again, and Clementine is thriving. If you’re stuck or feel out of options, hire him. You won’t regret it. And bonus: he’s an awesome person too.

Photo of Jared is kind, caring, patient, and considerate. He really focuses on training Humans rather than the dogs which has a longer lasting effect. My dogs went from never being able to have people come to our house to being able to handle a full party! The change that I’ve seen in My dogs after having Jareds help was significant!!!! I highly recommend him as a Trainer.

Photo of Monty Jared helped me and my family with our first puppy, Monty. With the overwhelming amount of information out there, it is comforting to have someone with Jared’s knowledge and calm demeanor who we can reach out to for the support that we need in raising our mini-Schnauzer. Through Jared’s first visit, we learned Bark Buster’s methods of behavior correction which has helped us feel more empowered and given us the confidence boost we needed to improve our relationship with our new pup. I am excited to continue on this training path with Jared’s support and would recommend him to anyone who may struggling with the challenges that all new puppy parents face.
