Theresa is the best. Our golden retriever Tallahassee “Tally” needed help with puppy biting, door greeting strangers, leash work and recall. Theresa has a way that is down to the science of speaking a language that dogs understand. No treats, no shock collars - and wow we have a manageable dog.

Jef has been a blessing to us with our four month old Maltipoo. I researched many trainers and I am so glad we chose to go with Bark Busters and Jef. He taught us about communication, leadership, specific training techniques, he helps us anticipate our puppy’s behavior changes as he grows and gives us homework and a training schedule that is tailored to our puppy and family needs. After our first session with him the overall feeling in our house was SO much less stressful. Jef is available when we have a concern or if we need help. He is prompt, thorough and very kind. We love Jef!

Ben was so professional, yet very friendly kind, easy to talk to, and patient! He is extremely knowledgeable. He spent over 4 hours with us and our 2 dogs, one of whom is quite stubborn. My husband and I would recommend Ben in a heartbeat. We couldn't be more satisfied with our decision.

If you’re reading this as a frustrated dog parent, look no further for any other trainer/ company. Absolutely go with Bark Busters!
PermalinkAmanda, our trainer is a genius. She showed me this video of a mama dog correcting her pups
and this is what the leader of the pack (me) does. I’m basically mama grunting at them when they do anything out of line or any thing I want to correct. Amanda is super cool and personable and can show you so many ways to get your dogs in line. There’s obviously more to it than just grunting so make you’re appointment with this company!!! My dogs are happier dogs! My dogs don’t have anxiety and IIIIIIIIII don’t have anxiety. I can enjoy my dogs now!
It’s crazy. It’s totally working! No treat or punish training.
My Cooper is not fear barking and lunging at people and my other dog Hunny isn’t separation anxiety barking outside when she can’t see me.
It took one water spray and a grunt before she came inside; I closed the door again and she quietly, patiently waited to come in until I let her.
Some dogs are a little more stubborn (cooper has been surprisingly) but it’s working. Hunny fell in line immediately.
My dogs aren’t CRAZY! Amanda and I are working on leash training in 2 weeks. Potty/ crate training rn. No more pee pads.

Damon was absolutely amazing! My husband and I feel so much more prepared to work with our beloved pup, Crowley, after our first session! We have tried regular trainers on multiple occasions for Crowley's behavioral issues but were at a loss. As a behaviorist, Damon gave us fundamentals to work on based on how a dog thinks rather than focusing on tasks or commands, which has already been an enormous game changer for us as dog owners. We look forward to having a steady support system for Crowley as we continue to learn how to provide a healthier learning and home environment for him!

Josh has been an amazing coach for me. My sheepadoodle is full of energy, jumps on visitors, tries to chase squirrels when walking, and loves to counter surf and eat anything. The strategies Josh has shared and his hands on demonstrations keep me focused and have made a huge difference as I work with my dog. I think training my dog in her natural environment is also key to her success. I highly recommend this in-house program.

I called bark busters in need of help with two new puppies. They were so quick to get back to me and answer all the questions I had. When they came out I was skeptical that neither dog would respond to the training. After the first exercise the dogs were already listening to me. I love that they teach YOU how to train the dog rather than them doing it for you. My dogs have already made a huge improvement from just the first session. I can’t wait to see how they continue to do.
