I barely have words to describe how amazing Patrick was. The strategies were both intuitive and effective in ways I wasn’t expecting. In just days the overwhelming majority of my fear was gone. My dog(Gunner) is a rescue and a really strong pitbull mix. As a disabled person, walking a dog that leash tugs is very worrying. Patrick had it fixed in minutes and gave me the strategies to work on it going forward. I’ve taken Gunner on walks over a mile long, and run into multiple triggers without any incident since our visit. And it’s only been a week. The security in seeing the changes within my dog an his actions has been so uplifting in knowing that this will work for the long term. Just seeing his anxiety drop as it’s easier for me to communicate with him has been great to see. I was worried how effective it would be, both for me and for Gunner. Understanding that the real goal is communicating on his level was the answer to getting my message through was a game changer. I really can’t say enough good about Patrick and Bark Busters.

We needed help training our puppy who has a mind of his own. Michael came and immediately began training the whole family. Our dog responded the first time meeting him. He is teaching us how to set expectations with our dog and has been very patient with us. We quickly learned how to establish boundaries while enjoying our dog. We are very thankful to Michael.

Photo of Elsa Jordan Claudon is the perfect match for my Elsa. He is very calm and patient with her and makes training look easy. I wish only that I could have started with his services much earlier. Both Elsa and myself have improved so much within a short period of time. So grateful for his experience and ability to work with our super dogs, especially my Elsa.

Photo of Ruby We were so frustrated with our pup’s barking and pulling and kept taking training courses that didn’t seem to help at all! Mariah gave us the tools we’ve been searching for and we saw incredible improvement in the very first training session!! It has made a world of difference being able to communicate with our dog on her level and address the underlying causes of her barking and pulling. Truly this training was worth every penny. Having a lifetime guarantee is such a huge relief and source of support as we work to help our dog be happier, calmer, and more comfortable, resulting in less barking and pulling. We would highly recommend Mariah and BarkBusters for all your training needs and for guidance that allows you to work with your dog to make your relationship stronger and communication better!

I don't know what I would have done without Paula Hinz's help. In fact, I was thinking I might have to give up my dog for adoption, because he was not getting along with my other dog. In just one lesson, Paula taught me how to speak dog and position myself as the leader of the pack. I really liked there was no shock or prong collars. My only regret I waited so long!
Don't give up ... call Paula.

Photo of Hunter After trying multiple rounds of group training without my issues being resolved, I reached out to Bark Busters after hearing about them from a friend. I just had my first training session with Randy and am feeling way more relieved. He kept the training fun and engaging, while also making necessary corrections to both myself and Hunter. He even got my “ not the one that goes to training” mother involved. Our first session flew by and I feel more confident going into our future sessions. I would totally recommend Bark Busters for all training needs and definitely worth the money knowing they will always be available for Hunter for years to come.

I can't say enough good things about Lee. We adopted a 100 lb. lab, who bolts on a leash. I have been injured twice. He also was mouthing me to the point of bleeding, daily. I knew he was learning commands but would not comply without a treat. I was at my wits end. Lee's calm demeanor instantly set me at ease. This company is not a "one plan fits all dogs and people" and that's why I chose them. Lee assessed Cole and me and, it turns out, I was the problem. Cole did not see me as a pack leader and took every advantage of that. Lee assured me that everything would be okay. By the end of our session, the tables had turned. Lee literally gave me my life back, and hope for even better things to come. The VERY NEXT morning, I took Cole outside CALMLY AND CONFIDENTLY !!! What a feeling ! No fear, no dread ! Cole was a different dog and I am now a different person. Lee explained why Cole acted lovingly but yet, pushed me to tears. Lee is patient and will go over things as much as needed. Thanks to Lee, I now understand Cole's mindset better and it is a joy to bring my big boy out to play !!! I can't say enough about this company and especially Lee.

We enlisted Kendra's help when we adopted our 3rd dog and couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience. While I have done dog training classes at facilities before, nothing can compare to having someone in your home, seeing the dynamic of your dog/dogs, triggers they might have, the behaviors you want to address, it was really perfect for us. Kendra really has a wonderful presence that our dogs picked up on right away, they actually all laid at her feet while we discussed our issues and what we wanted to accomplish, thus making me look like a liar about their jumping and bad behavior ;). Honestly though, it really showed me how effective her methods could be for us, she totally changed our view on interacting with our dogs and establishing the correct hierarchy in our home, it just made so much sense and the dogs pretty instantly got on board with the program. Kendra is just so calm and patient and in tune with all the dogs and offered great solutions when other issues arose during our training. She is also wonderful at communication, I could email her a novel and she responded to every single question clearly and concisely. Our most recent addition is a larger dog, which we have never had before, so it was imperative to learn manners when guest come over and it really has been so much more enjoyable to entertain now that we have implemented Kendra's methods. My husband and I enjoy fostering/foster failing and I feel so much more confident in continuing to do that knowing what we have learned, it just makes so much sense and we are really super happy with our decision to enlist Kendra's help, we can't recommend her enough!

Photo of Banks and Birdie Diane and John are miracle workers! We have 2 goldens and they are quite the handful at times. Diane and John have taught us so much about dog behavior that helps you understand why dogs do things certain ways so that you can correct their behavior. They teach you corrections that are effective and beyond helpful. I love that they come to your home so that they can see your dog in their own environment. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

Photo of CJ There aren’t words to describe the experience my dog and I had with Luis. I was on the verge of a mental breakdown and had scheduled an appointment to remove my dogs tail. His behavior was getting out of control and I was very overwhelmed especially being pregnant. Luis helped save my dogs tail . He helped us communicate and discover that we just weren’t utilizing the proper tools to train my cj . I did the homework and cj is a whole new dog. Everyone has commented on his new behavior and patterns when they visit the home. I am confident we will manage when baby arrives and cj can continue to be our beloved first born. I cannot thank you enough Luís and wish we would have met you 6 years ago.
