Sharon is incredibly professional yet warm and approachable. In just our first session, she shared a wealth of knowledge and gave me a whole new understanding of how dogs think and respond. My sweet Boy responded in such a positive almost unbelievable way to the techniques she taught me. Sharon truly covered every base leaving me confident and supported. I now have a clear path forward to help my dog feel more secure and thrive. I'm sure we will see amazing results by continuing to practice what she taught us. Highly recommend!

Photo of Moses & Bo Dawson Susan is amazing! My dogs have had previous training but nothing like this. The relationship that has been built behind the training makes a big difference. I don't have to worry about having a remote or treats to correct a behavior on me, they want to listen. It makes sense when you think about it, I have never seen a pack leader dog give another dog a treat for doing what they should do! Haha! Susan has been such a great support system as i learn to be the pack leader and speak my dogs language!
My two boys would fight over dominance but Susan helped me catch the signs before and take care of that. I highly recommend the investment.

I can’t say enough great things about Sharon with Bark Busters. Bar none, she is an elite dog trainer. She completely changed how I understand and communicate with my dogs — and there were immediate and positive results. Even within the first session, I was completely blown away by the progression of my young and undisciplined dogs. Sharon showed genuine love of her craft and implored my dogs to be the best versions of themselves. Sharon is a complete professional who utilizes actual behavioral improvement over other trainers who rely on treats or harsh punishments. Sharon just doesn’t "train your dog," she improves your dogs' behavior while empowering you to be the best dog owner you can be. Sharon provides so many strategies to empower your dog to be the best version of themselves without archaic, unethical methods. Sharon is so savvy in this area that she can proficiently train puppies, adult dogs, and foster dogs with previous trauma. Don't waste your money with amateurs. Sharon at Bark Busters is the elite dog trainer in the greater Tampa / St. Pete / Clearwater area. I am thankful to have Sharon from Bark Busters to improve my two dogs beyond what I've anticipated.

I adopted Rocky, a Border Collie mix, from a local animal shelter when he was around 6 months old. He was found living in a field, underweight and was cautious of the world. At home, he is the most loving dog in the world. Outside of my home, he was dog and people aggressive from the start. He would want to challenge other dogs to a fight and lunge at people, especially men when we would go on walks at the park. The command, "come here" terrified him, he had signs that he was beaten as a puppy, loud noises scared him, if I raised my voice he would start to bark, and even hearing a football or basketball game on the tv, he would go hide.

After working with two different dog trainers with little success, a friend of a friend recommended Bark Busters. I had done my research with little success beforehand as everyone posts great reviews and the second trainer basically had a PHD in dog behavior, but that did not yield any success for us.

We started working with Adrienne Greene a few months ago. When we first met her for the first session, Rocky wanted to eat her alive and this did not scare her away. Adrienne shows up as one confident, empathic person who is here to work with both the dog and the owner. We have made more real changes in a few months then I have seen in the 18 months since I adopted Rocky. Her style of teaching is completely different then I have seen before and for us, 100% effective. It’s more of tapping into his brain, showing him of who the pack leader is through confidence without the need to reward him with treats or in trying to overpower him through one’s own strength to get him to do what I want.

All of this goes back to having Adrienne, who is one confident individual as stated earlier, work with both of us in a manner that builds Rocky up in learning that he does not need to protect me from the world as that’s my job to keep him safe.

I rarely post anything, but I wanted to let all of you know, that if you are in a similar situation like me, committed to helping your dog get better, I highly recommend working with Adrienne as she has helped make life so much better for Rocky and my family. We have seen Rocky go from the need to fight the world to remain safe to now learning to play with other dogs and learning that not all people are bad. Thank you so much Adrienne!!!! Your work really makes a difference!

Kyle is truly exceptional to work with. His genuine love for dogs and deep passion for helping others shines through in everything he does. My pup is sweet but sensitive, and Kyle has a remarkable ability to connect with both of us, ensuring we always feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the training process. He tailors his approach to our unique needs, and it’s clear he truly cares about our progress. The best part is that the techniques Kyle teaches are not only effective—they’re also easy to apply. I’ve even used what I’ve learned from him when watching friends’ dogs, and the results have been nothing short of amazing! It’s like magic every time. Kyle’s expertise and kindness make him a standout trainer, and I’m incredibly grateful for all the guidance he’s given us.

Photo of Eddie Kayla is a remarkable trainer! We have had our labradoodle in various training programs mostly for help with his walking skills and some dominance issues that he has. The skills she has taught us are by far the most effective. She works in real time at our house where our dog is most comfortable (and likely to act like his normal self compared to a facility we would bring him to). She will answer any and all questions! She is patient with not only our dog but with us as well. When we have reached out for follow up she is always receptive and flexible and makes herself available to come visit us again. Our dog respects her when she is with him but is also comfortable with her and shows love to herI can’t speak highly enough about her and would gladly refer her to anyone!

Photo of Jack 4 years ago we signed our dog Jack, a Rottweiler/Hound mix for at home training provided by BarkBusters. Our trainer or should I say Jacks trainer Kayla provided us weeks of training homework which we used to train Jack! 4 years later Kayla is still in contact with us for updates and answers to questions on Jacks behavior trends! Kayla is a dedicated, patient, courteous and knowledgeable trainer!! Anyone looking for a trainer then look no further than Kayla. She has been and will always be part of our family and Jacks.
