John was very thorough and detailed with his training explanations. He took the time with our Khaleesi and we could see a noticeable improvement in her behavior on Day 1. We look forward to our future training sessions.

Josh was fantastic. Knowledgeable and insightful. We started off early with our puppy and learning these principles now will change our life. Happy dog and happy owner.

Mariah has alleviated SO MUCH of his our stress and worries with our dog Earl. With only ONE visit she has given us the tools to allow us to walk our preciously reactive dog stress free! I am absolutely amazed with the progress our dog has made just within the first week. Mariah is super responsive and cares about the needs of us and our dog. My dog is still the dog i know but he is learning a lot through the tools and exercises we were given. They were not overwhelming and are personalized for his needs. I can not recommend bark busters enough.

I adopted a 9 month old Weimaraner puppy who had no manners, no training, and tons of energy. She was jumping on everyone, counter surfing, and nonstop biting. I was in tears. But Mariah came in and helped me find structure and routine in a way my pup could understand. Now I get to actually enjoy my dog! I highly recommend. Plus we will get to continue working on things as she gets into her defiant teenage stage 🤣

Sharon is amazing!! I reached out when I adopted a miniature golden doodle puppy. She came to the house and gave me the techniques I needed to teach my puppy. Within two days he was walking on a leash, when she left I had the tools to teach him not to jump on me constantly and to stop him from constantly biting on my pants and hands. Within 4 weeks he was completely potty trained. We are now 2 months in and I reached back out to Sharon as my now 5 month old puppy was starting to not obey when I was ready for him to come in from playing. Sharon responded the same day and came back to the house two days later. Within a matter of 10 minutes I had the techniques to get Milo to come inside when I decided it was time. No punishment and no treats just natural techniques they respond to. It is amazing to see Sharon have such control immediately and see my dog respond. I have been able to achieve the same results just by following her guidelines. I highly recommend Sharon. She is friendly, responsive and a great with dogs!

Very peaceful! Orlando showed us correction exercises that work immediately. I wish we would have sought help sooner.

For those familiar with TAP’s work rescuing dogs from ESLR in Ensenada, Tufa is an ESLR survivor. This means she spent several years of her life in an unsanitary, unhealthy and dangerous environment where she lacked safe personal space. We adopted her in Dec 2023 and since the very beginning she’s been incredibly sweet and loving at home, but she had some work to do on her reactive and protective behaviors toward people and dogs. It seemed that as she got more comfortable in her new home she began to increase her protectiveness, which is completely understandable!
PermalinkIn her first few months, we completed a 6-week series of group trainings and a few 1:1s which worked on improving obedience but wasn’t providing the tools we needed to address real world situations when another dog or person would approach us or enter our home. So I found Bark Busters online and was able to set up an appointment with Justin. That was all it really took to change everything.
In our first appointment we learned how to communicate with Tufa in a way where she realized we were in charge at all times. We also were given new handing tools that immediately stopped her pulling on walks and allowed us to give her clear signals to prevent and stop reactivity. Within days her improvement was very noticeable, within weeks she was a completely different dog outside in the world! She is now showing everyone what a sweet dog she can be and is approaching all situations with joy and curiosity, rather than fear. Thank you, Justin!
