I am blown away!!! My puppy Skids, was reacting to everything. He was going off with the doorbell, FedEx, squirrels, even my in-laws. He would sit there and bark at them and they couldn’t even get in the house. It’s been a few days since my lesson, and I have never had a more peaceful house. I highly recommend! What really sold me as they come right to my house and that was my concern I didn’t want to send my. Thank you so much!

Bark Busters has been such a blessing for me and my dog, Louie! Ryanne is amazing to work with, offers helpful guidance, and has an amazing knowledge about dog psychology. I have enjoyed learning how to speak dog, be more confident in training, and build a stronger bond with my dog! It has been rewarding to see progress made and am excited to keep building on it! I love that Bark Busters has flexible scheduling, allows for individualized training based on your dogs’ needs, and has a lifetime commitment! I highly recommend Bark Busters and wish I would have found it sooner!

Potcakes are very shy and fearful in general. Fear aggression was our issue (with strangers coming into the
Permalinkhouse). Greg from Bark Busters was one of THE BEST trainers we’ve ever had. His techniques worked instantly. I am so thankful we hired Greg because we love our dogs and we’re scared that Hazel would bite a stranger out of fear and we would be forced to put her down. She is an amazing wonderful girl and Greg gave us the strategies to get her fears under control. I cannot thank Greg enough for helping us help Hazel. Thank you!!!

Stephen came over today to help us with sibling rivalry between a 4 year old frenchie and a 5 year old beagle/lab mix. Instantly, the dogs became a lot better and we learned a ton.
PermalinkI would highly recommend Stephen to anyone who needs help with their dogs!

So my fiancé and I rescued a mutt from the shelter who was abandoned 3 times and was sitting in a shelter from February of this year until about May. We were sent photos of the little guy and my fiancés heart immediately melted and a week later he came home with us.
PermalinkWhat we didn't take into account was how much of a headache this guy was going to be when we got him, likely due to his trauma and whatever he experienced before us. The little guy, now called Reaper, was barking at every single dog, bird, cat, and any other animal, as well as lunging and pulling like the world was ending. We knew that there would be some adjustment period for Reaper to settle down and get used to us and while he did, he was still a huge headache. We then got him neutered him and hope he would calm down a little and it helped but not much.
We got a little desperate and tried using YouTube to train him but it didn't workout like we hoped. Then we found BarkBusters, specifically Jared for the SMC area. Let me tell you, this little headache of a mutt is a completely different dog than when we first met him. Almost a complete 180.
Reaper still barks and needs work but Jared started with fundamentals and how to "talk" to the dog in ways he understands so he can find his place and his purpose in the household. We've had about 4 sessions so far and each time builds upon the last and Reaper can now sit on command, stay, and knows his boundaries like we didn't think was possible.
Now Reaper is a huge handful and there's still plenty of work to be done, but in comparison to what he was when we got him and what he is now, we can't recommend Jared enough.
He's the real deal. He helps you understand your dog and come up with reasonings as to why your dog does what he does and helps your dog understand you!
One of the best investments you can make if you have a handful of a mutt. Hands down.

The best 3-hour session of our lives! We learned so many things from Josh that we will easily be able to carry over, he was so informative and knowledgeable. 100% would recommend for any behavior or obedience training!

Steve spent only 3 hrs with me and my tiny 3.5 pound Biewer Terrier and the results were immediate! Ms Shimmer used to bark at TV commercials, every time I was on Zoom, when my phone rang or my printer was printing, when the buzzer rang and at hearing any noise in the hallway of my apt building. She had a stranger-danger issue, morning, noon and night, even at 3am. I am still reinforcing her training, of course, but one command when she barks will stop her, plus a lot of love when she obeys. She is walking next to me now and not pulling. Steve was great at teaching me too on how to behave in a way to take command! Definitely worth the expense to get instant results without loading Shimmer up with unnecessary treats. Shimmer and I have a new relationship and peace again reigns! Both of us are happier now and my neighbors appreciate the quiet too! Definitely recommend giving Bark Busters a try!
