I called Bark Busters to help me learn how to manage my newly adopted Pit Bull, Ruckus. Ruckus is very loving, but I began to notice he was very territorial of me to the point where he would bark and growl at me if I did not pay attention to him at his demand. When I had guests over, he would bark and growl at them. He was completely running the show, and I didn't know how to put myself back in charge. Glenda came out and helped me gain control back.

After our first 2 hour session, I felt like I had an entirely different dog. The tools and techniques she gave me worked like magic. I now had a dog who listened and respected me and understood he was no longer in the dominant position.

On our second session, we worked on techniques to help me be in more control during our walks outside. Before Glenda came, Ruckus would DRAG me down the sidewalk and become agitated when he saw other dogs. It made it hard for me to enjoy walking him, and he ended up getting shorted because I didn't feel like I could manage him on a leash for long periods of time outside. With Glenda's help and guidance during our next 1 hour session, I have a completely different dog. He now walks beside me, and is not so easily excited and distracted. This is so great because I can take him on longer walks and help him get out some of his energy!

Glenda truly is a miracle worker! I can't believe how much progress Ruckus has made in such a short period of time. Her tips and techniques really work and I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone who has issues with their dog. Ruckus needed some guidance, and I myself needed guidance on how to help him. I got the guidance I needed and so much more! Thank you, Glenda!!!!!

Photo of Jethro We've had a variety of breeds and aged dogs for 30 yrs. Never had issues like we had with our 2 year old German Shepherd. Connie helped us "speak dog" and better understand dog body language. Her professionalism, patient energy, and ability to teach us using training aids, hand signals, and verbal commands was extremely effective. Within 3 sessions, she addressed and corrected Jethro's pulling on the leash, bullying ahead through doors/gates, barking aggressively at strangers and house guests, coming when called and interacting gently and appropriately with our 2 Pomeranians. We highly recommend Connie Archer as someone who can quickly get to the root of your dog's issues and you can trust to effectively address them at a good pace. She also uses your feedback to modify things that aren't working!

Photo of Hudson & Bella Rebecca did a fantastic job. I have to admit I am shocked at how well my two dogs responded. I have a small Cockapoo and I have never been able to keep her off the couch. With the techniques I learned after 3 hours, Bella actually stayed off couch and waited to be invited up. I am impressed!

I had a terrific experience with Jack and his training sessions! Not only is Jack a very personable guy, but he had my dogs number within the first few minutes of entering my home. By the completion of the first hour of training I had a 100% different dog (he was till adorable, but with WAY better behaviors), and by the time Jack left my home I finally felt like there was hope for my being able to manage my 90lb. puppy! After the first three or four trainings I gained several skills necessary for raising a well mannered boy, and when I have a question or two for follow up Jack is readily available to assist me! Thanks Jack!

Photo of Jethro We have had a variety of aged dogs over 30 yrs but continued to have trouble with our 2 y/o G.Shepherd. Connie was amazing training Jethro and us! She optimized her time here and made every minute of her 3 visits count. She addressed his bullying ahead through doorways/gates, walking on a leash, coming when called, interacting more appropriately with our 2 Pomeranians and desensitizing him to new people. She equipped us with verbal commands, hand signals, and loads on information on how to "speak dog". Connie truly listens, is very patient, encouraging, is up front with concerns and honest with feedback. I highly recommend using Connie Archer to help you address and correct the issues with your dog(s).

We were in deep trouble. We have an aggressive 100 pound guard dog, and 2 smaller rescue dogs with all kind of issues. It took us awhile but we realized that we need professional help. Mark called and we talked in length before his very first visit, so he came prepared. He has an impressive knowledge of dog behavior!!! I believe he had a pretty good idea of what's going on in our home within an hour. He listened to us patiently and watched us interacting with our dogs. Then he taught us how to communicate with them. By the end of our first session I felt like I learned a new language that I can use with my dogs. We are at the beginning of our new life as a pack:-) but 4 weeks into it, we had no incident of aggression and although we still have a long road ahead of us, we absolutely see the end of the tunnel!
He'll come back and we'll continue on learning and practicing:-) I can't imagine that there's a better person/trainer I could recommend.

I love how Bark Busters does not use force or treat rewards for training. We got very fast and effective results. The time that Ken spent with us was so valuable. He took his time and you can tell he really cares for the dogs and owners. Meelo was already making changes after the first session. Thank you so much for helping us with Meelo!

After the first visit with Pam we could definitely see a change in our dog Bella. We had contacted Bark Busters to help Bella with her aggression issue. By the end of the first session Bella was able to fall asleep with the trainer near, which is something I would have never dreamed possible. It was a great experience and I cannot wait to continue!
