Simply amazing! Michelle was absolutely amazing, she really does teach you how to speak dog! Honestly I didn’t think I’d see any changes in my dog after 1 session like all the reviews claim, but I was wrong! After a thorough 3 hours 1st in person session, my dog is a new pup. My boy was displaying some major leash reactivity….walking him during the dog walking hours was something I dreaded. But honestly, her methods work. She explains how dogs communicate and understanding what’s going on in their mind can help us humans help them be their best. Highly recommend! I’ve now walked Exodus 3x and encountered other dogs and had minimal issues. Will continue practicing to help solidify.

My husband and I acquired Red, a Redbone Coon Hound, as a scared rescue. Almost immediately, things were not going well. Red was fearful of any noises and even after basic dog training left it almost impossible to get her to go for a daily walk. There were other issues that led my husband and I to believe that she needed help. We needed help in overcoming her timid (scared) behavior.

We contacted Bark Busters, because our other alternative was to return Red to the rescue agency. My Zoom meetings with Marlene and Brandon provided great insight into Red's timid personality. One that cannot be changed, but methods are available to help both Red and us with a successful, loving relationship. Brandon came to our house and immediately worked with us and Red. The methods and equipment quickly had Red following instruction for both our daily walk (getting her to trust walking across the street) and positive responses to daily interaction.

Red's strength is that she is a very compassionate dog, but needed appropriate direction around visitors, and trust that our affection was genuine. Bark Busters' help was the expertise we needed. Now Red doesn't run away from us. Rather, she comes to greet us and spend her time with us. Obedience, well that is so much better.

    Thank you Bark Busters

Nice job today. Ace is a nervous pup but really is a good boy. Peebles is a great "people trainer" because she is so cute.

Really great firsts session with Emily today. We addressed a lot of the puppy basics but also addressed her separation anxiety. She is a very smart puppy. With David being consistent she will continue to improve. We also are working on her socialization and learning to interact with the world around her.

Mason was great! In just a few hours we saw a huge difference in our two dogs behaviors! We tried another training service before this and this has already been more impressive in a shorter time. Highly recommend!!

Gail Defnall's Google Review "We have a standard poodle named Beauregard. We got him at 8 weeks and by his first birthday, he was totally out of control! I researched and found Bark Busters Home Dog Training. After 2 classes, Beau is a different dog!! Finally we found the correct method of training and Beau is responding to commands followed by praise! No shock collar or pockets full of treats! Betty Lou and Rachel do an outstanding job teaching us how to communicate with Beau. After trying other methods, we have found the best in Bark Busters!!"

Photo of Scarlett We're so grateful to Kayla and Barkbusters. We started working with Kayla when our three-year-old hound princess began aggressively guarding our house and being hostile to some of the dogs we encountered on walks and at the beach. As a result of our work with Kayla, we've seen enormous progress. Our dog is happier and more relaxed, and so are we. With previous dogs, we worked with other trainers, with mixed results. The major differences we found with Barkbusters - 1) We saw immediate, positive results, while building a foundation for a better long-term relationship with our dog, 2) We learned how to establish control without the harsh discipline, shock collars, etc., that other trainers had used, 3) Home visits - essential. Kayla's assessment of our dog's behavior in her own environment was key. She took a lot of time asking us questions, observing our dog's behavior, and understanding our home life and the factors that might be leading to or contributing to the behavioral issues. 4) The lifetime guarantee - they really mean it. About a year after our initial work with Kayla, we adopted another dog. To our dismay, our princess immediately decided the new hound would not be tolerated in her home. Kayla was back two days later, and set us on path for acclimating the two dogs that resulted in them being good buddies within a few short weeks. Highly, highly recommend!!

I’ve had my Maltese since he was a puppy and he is currently 9 years old. I’ve taken him to training before and it was a horrible experience he ended up worse than before, biting and barking. I couldn’t take him for walks because he was impossible when he saw people or other dogs. Keith was amazing! He gave me all of the right tools to become the leader. I was nervous that Jax was already too old and couldn’t be trained but boy was I wrong. Jax is a completely different dog and I’m so grateful to Keith for helping us. Now I can take him for walks and have people over without having him bark or bite.
