Photo of Sawyer Contacted Bark Busters and within an hour had a response. Mark the trainer came and spent 3 glorious hours with us. Sawyer, our 6 months old Samoyed went from a wild “I’m Alpha” dog to a well mannered loving puppy that very night. Walks are enjoyable now...I’m not getting mouthed nor barked at nor pulled. Wish I had known about this method of training sooner.Worth every penny!

Photo of Luna Awesome Experience! We have already seen a tremendous amount of improvement in our Luna in our first session. We are now feeling more confident, and excited to continue our training!

    Trainer Note:
Luna has a new home and is really having trouble adjusting. She also has a big fear of men. She is also trying to protect the home which is causing her a lot of stress and anxiety. Today she responded very well in our first training session. Now with her handlers taking over the leadership role she is already starting to calm down.

Photo of Juniper / Teddy Having recently adopted a new pup, I was thrown when her aggressive behaviors only escalated with time. Having someone who could help me craft a solid plan + gain my footing again. Knowing there is a group that can help me with that in a way that is gentle + supportive is a great comfort.

    Trainer Note:
Juniper was really responsive during our first session. Just after a few hours she wasn't reactive outside on the leash, and she was responding well to our techniques. With Kendall showing leadership Juniper's aggression will stop.

Photo of Chewy and Bailey We were searching for dog trainers for months and after being told by one trainer that our dog Bailey "isn't the right fit for us" and that we should "re-home" her - I almost gave up searching for a trainer until my husband found Bark Busters' website. Josh immediately made me feel comfortable and assured me that we can work on our dogs and after meeting him for the first time - I knew we made the right decision and made us more comfortable with our dogs and made progress instantly. I am looking forward to more training sessions with him and to see more results. I cannot wait to spread the word to family and friends.

I respect other trainers, but the other trainer was wrong. These dogs were both extremely trainable and just wanted to know how to please Mom and Dad. I'm so glad you saw so much progress already and more to come!

Photo of Tinkerbell and Red5 Josh was very patient and answered all our questions completely. The exercises he showed us returned immediate dividends! We know we have a lot of work to do and are fully invested and excited to take this journey with Bark Busters! Josh really cares about the dogs as a family unit and providing a framework for us all. Thank you!

Bark Busters saved us. We were at the decision to use a ‘boot camp’ style training facility or locate a home trainer, and Bark Busters/Karen Gaines was the right choice. It didn’t feel right to send our little guy away. What were we going to learn from doing that? Our little puppy is intelligent and started to not respond to treat training, and sometimes used the treat training for his benefit. Yum! Training without food is so much better. Also, it’s based on our individual needs, and those needs can change. That’s the benefit of Bark Busters, customized attention and solutions for the unique challenges presented now and thereafter.

Photo of Stanley / Leeloo Really great! We have lots of basic tools for obedience but struggled with behaviors. I think these tools will really help our dogs behave better, not just listen to our commands.

Photo of Ziva & Zoe Our labs Ziva (2 yrs) and Zoe (18 mo), have been running wild, not responding to commands and even getting aggressive with each other and other dogs. We reached out to Ryanne at Bark Busters for help. We have only been at it for 3 weeks and the results are amazing. Ryanne taught us that dogs are looking for a leader and how to be that leader for them. She showed us how they feel safe and secure when the know they don't have to be the alpha. Ryanne taught us the skills needed to make them feel taken care of, and ready to follow commands. Ryanne also schedules follow up visits, that are included in the one time fee, and continues to help our progress along. In addition, when we had questions we were able to reach out to her for advice. The picture below shows are girls waiting calmly outside the kitchen while I prepare their dinner. Before Ryanne and Bark Busters we had to use a baby gate to keep them out. This service is amazing and our pups are so much more happy and calm.

Photo of Molly Our 18 mo Cocker Spaniel Molly, a leash tugger, puller barker & lunger at anything or anyone we saw when attempting to take her for a walk. We tried all the usual trainings - puppy kindergarten and basic obedience - she passed but result was short lived. Today was her training session with Patrick. She is NOT the same dog this afternoon....she is the Molly we always knew she could be and that we could help her be! Patrick's methods and approach is amazing....with her and with us! We can honestly say we now speak dog! Best investment we could have ever made in our relationship with our Molly. I highly recommend!! Don't wait!! Thank you Patrick!

Scooter was responding very well to Dianne in our first session. His aggression is related to his and Dianne's relationship, that is great news because now with her establishing leadership he will progress forward.
