I was very skeptical when he said that my dog would start listening and obeying right away just on the first visit with him. To my surprise he wasn't kidding. This is a training program that is well worth it. He's got the tools and techniques that are crucial to your dogs learning progress. I've had a few visits in the past few months and my dog has made so much progress. Although I have to say you have to be patient, consistent and committed to putting in the work with your dog. It will not happen overnight. I thought an appointment every 2-3 weeks was too long. But that gives you the time to work with your dog on the assignment given, so he or she is ready for the next step. I would definitely recommend Bark Busters Home Dog Training as your new dog trainer. The best part about it is if you come across something that needs to be corrected with your dog down the road, they are always going to be there for you.

It was a pleasure to work with James! He helped me with my 75 pound labradoodle (Romeo) who was barking alot and pulling on walks. James was very thorough in explaining how and why certain techniques would work for us. Romeo responded positively on the first visit, and with practice his barking and leash pulling are under control. My life is much less stressful! I highly recommend James for your dog training needs!

I had my first training today (I am the one who needs to be trained lol). I was amazed at how well my Remedy picked up on things. The trainer was very professional but also personable. I am looking forward to learning more and enjoying a better relationship with my dog. Thank you Bark Busters!

Scot was funny and engaging and immediately put us all at ease. He was clear and the effect on the dog was immediate! It will clearly take a lot of consistent behavioral change by the humans in our family to work long term, but Scot made it crystal clear what those changes are by showing his example, instructing and giving feedback on our attempts. We’re very hopeful for the future after just one visit from him!

Bonnie is incredible! I only wish I had reached out to her sooner. I was hesitant to work with another trainer because I had tried several in the past and found their methods difficult to implement. One of my dogs had been struggling with aggression, and we were becoming increasingly concerned about how to manage the behavior safely and effectively.
PermalinkAfter just one session with Bonnie, I was absolutely blown away by the results. She quickly identified the root causes of our challenges and gave us clear, practical guidance that was easy to implement. The change in both dogs was immediate and remarkable.
One of the most impressive improvements is on our walks. After a single session, both dogs are walking calmly on a loose leash instead of pulling and straying. It feels like I have completely different dogs.
Bonnie's approach is knowledgeable, effective, and empowering. She not only helped my dogs but also gave me the confidence and skills I needed to be a better leader for them. I look forward to our continued sessions and building on these spectacular results. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Jared was great! He helped us navigate a very difficult situation. He was responsive, knowledgeable, effective, kind, and flexible. Years ago, I had extensive training as a service dog trainer. Though my skills are a little rusty! Needless to say, I have a very high bar when it comes to what I expect from Dog Trainers. Jared was excellent with the dogs and with us the humans. The situation involved an aggressive dog that was being fostered after the fires in LA. The dog was not getting along with the other dog in the house; was running out of the yard; was charging at humans. So he helped us making the dogs, children, and neighbors be safe during this tense time. Thanks Jared!

I have only had one session with Heather, but am feeling really good about the program so far. She gave me several great tools for calming my dog down and managing her behaviors. I'm looking forward to doing more sessions and having a calmer and more obedient dog.

Excellent tips for keeping firm control over my dogs but in a positive and loving way. Trainers go through practice with you and your dogs and leave you with a plan!
