Success in 1 day! Our 5 month old mini poodle Stella has showed amazing results with one visit from Bark Busters, Karen Deppe. Not only did "Stella" learn so much so did my husband and I. Separation Anxiety is our biggest concern and we have already seen results with this. Next barking, we don't want a little yapper or jumper and this also has already been successful. I think most would be amazed at what we all were doing wrong. We couldn't be happier with the results. And knowing that Bark Busters will be there for us at anytime is a huge comfort. Thank you Karen for the awesome training and helping us and Stella.😍

Derek with Bark Busters has helped immensely with our dog. We had reached out to Bark Busters initially in February on a Saturday and heard back from Derek on that Monday. Since our dog struggles with being reactive and barking at new people, on our first appointment Derek came with a training harness. He also came with a meal plan to help get my dog healthier on the inside which would help her with her overall behavior. He then walked us through the training, since the owners are the ones that need the most training, and within 10 minutes she was a completely different dog.
PermalinkHe gave us homework to make sure it sticks with her and he always answers our calls and texts.
I cannot recommend Bark Busters enough. We felt like we couldn't have people come over because our dog would get nervous and bark the whole time, but now we do a 20-30 minute protocol that Derek made and we can have anyone come over.

Patrick’s a great guy and really good at what he does. He clearly explained the process and more importantly WHY we’re training that way - it really makes sense. I’ve got a 13 week old puppy and I just wanted to make sure I can set him up for success to have a great, safe life and Pat’s method is a great step in the right direction of building a great foundation for the little guy.

I’m sure Pat works with all dogs, and if you’re at all on the fence about hiring a trainer, don’t waste your time and just Give Pat a call - I promise it’ll be worth it.

I have been having reactivity issues with my shepherd mix Gizmo that have been worsening for the last few months. I have tried another dog training company in Denver in the past who came to my house and tried to sell me expensive e-collars and prong collars, without actually helping my dog's behavior. So, I was hesitant to spend money for another dog trainer, but Scott and BarkBusters has been worth every penny! What I love about Scott's approach is he teaches you how to communicate with your dog, and how to understand your dog's behavior so you can correct it. He has helped me build a new relationship with Gizmo, one in which he respects, trusts, and listens to me. The training tools that Scott provides (at no extra cost) are simple, easy to use, and cruelty free. After even just ONE session with Scott I could already see a change in Gizmo! Any dog parent of a reactive dog knows how difficult it is and how much anxiety it can produce (for both you and your pup), and for the first time in months I felt hopeful that change would actually be possible. So far Gizmo has made amazing strides with the help of Scott - he no longer leash pulls, he no longer has ball aggression, he doesn't bark when he hears a knock on the door, and his reactivity towards dogs on walks has significantly decreased. It is because he doesn't feel the need to be scared or protective, since he now views me as the pack leader when previously it was the other way around. I have a totally new understanding of relationship dynamics and dog behavior, which has been the key to having successful results so quickly. I am eternally grateful to Scott for what he's done for Gizmo and I, and it is so awesome knowing that if I ever need anything he is just a phone call away and will come for follow-up visits as needed for life!
