We came upon Bark busters while searching for a trainer that could help us with our rescue dog Kody. After a few weeks he began to display aggression towards people and other animals. He barked at everything moving ferociously while in the car. We were not able to take him anywhere. I could go into more detail about Kody's issues but suffice it to say they were serious. We knew we needed help but we were worried we may not be able to find a trainer that could handle such difficult problems with a very large dog. People recommended board and train facilities but we didn't like that idea because someone else is training your dog. We knew we needed to learn how to train our dog but we were clearly in over our heads. Several things were appealing about Bark busters. The price is reasonable and our trainer Josh has stuck by the promise to be Kody's trainer for as long as Kody needs. He initially spent almost 4 hours with us. We also really like his method of correction and praise without treats, choke, shock or pinch collars. A few months ago if you had told me we could get this dog under control without all of the above I would not believe it. The change in our dog has been amazing. All along the way Josh has been there to guide us with clear and concise direction. Josh is a very talented, dedicated trainer and teacher. A big part of the training has been his teachings on how to communicate effectively with our dog. He is also quite knowledgable about nutrition for your dog. We highly recommend Josh Rombro and Bark Busters. Today we were able to take our dog in the car to meet Josh at Starbucks and sit on the patio without any barking, snarling or lunging.

Evan came highly recommended to us by a friend and my husband and I are SO GRATEFUL we listened. Our dog was a little over 1 year old and she was still pulling on walks, getting overly excited and jumping on anyone that came near her, as well as not listening to us for simple commands such as “come”. We came all the way up to Michigan from Nashville and set up training sessions. Evan met up with us and was immediately kind, patient, and extremely informative. We worked with him for a few hours and already after the first session we saw improvement with our pup. Once we learned how to properly train her, the rest wasn’t easy but it was worth it. We had to stay disciplined ourselves in keeping with all the training practices but after a couple months we feel like we have a new dog! She is now a great listener, is MUCH less reactive, and she has stopped pulling on her leash as if she were a sled dog. All that to say, we couldn’t have accomplished any of this without Evan. We are now recommending him to anyone who’s looking for some help dog training. Thank you again, Evan, for your service with us!

Our experience with Bark Busters has been great! Our dog Molly has issues meeting unfamiliar people and was a nightmare to take on walks. Since working with Ryanne, we’ve worked on multiple techniques when introducing her to new people, and we’ve been able to take easier, stress free walks around the neighborhood again. Can’t say enough good things!

Kendra came out and spent so much time with us. She was detailed in each of her instructions, she was patient and helped us with each of our four dogs. We have jumping, barking, aggression and sibling rivalry issues and she went through it all. She was responsive to our questions and brought us helpful information. She has training and a life time guarantee. She schedules out so you know when she will be back and she gave us multiple ways to reach her in between sessions if we need her. I highly recommend her if you and your dog(s) need help.
