Up until a week ago we were chronically stressed by our doggie’s behavior. If we didn’t have a treat available, his counter-surfing, jumping on visitors, and lunging at other dogs was unstoppable. Then Karen helped us.

Karen taught us “how to speak dog” and I am in awe. Buster is a changed dog, just after one day. This first week post-training we feel a weight lifted off of our shoulders. Thank you Karen. We feel so much gratitude for your help.

We highly recommend Karen Gaines, she is observant, patient, a great communicator, not to mention has TONS of experience training dogs with all sorts of behavioral problems. She is an absolutely excellent teacher and dog-trainer.

We rescued Luna 2 months ago and knew immediately that we needed help. Separation anxiety was our main issue to tackle and we had no idea where to start. We found Dan with Bark Busters and were able to meet with him right away. We love the convenience of having the training done in our home and in a one on one setting.

After only 3-4 sessions, Luna is a different dog. Her separation anxiety has seriously improved. With Dan's help, her leash manners, potty training, comfort level around new people, etc have all gotten better too. Dan is very responsive and has been great about creating a training plan tailored to our needs. We focus on just a few things at a time so that it doesn't feel overwhelming. He has a simple yet effective idea for every issue that I bring up. I highly recommend working with Dan!

    Trainer Note:
Otis and Fiona have been struggling after having a traumatic experience on a walk. Having no leadership in their life they felt that they had to protect the home and them self's. Today Eddy and Leo showed them that they are the leader. Teaching them they don't have to be on guard in the home and they can relax. They both responded very well. With consistency they will continue to improve.

Jeff did an amazing job with Arrow. She went from timid, barking and growling at strangers to wanting to go up and make friends in the first session. I am grateful she is now able to be the sweet and loving dog we know she is without so much fear.

Michael is wonderful. Prompt, enthusiastic, patient, creative--he clearly loves his work and loves dogs. What I really appreciate is that he quickly picked up on how my dog and I operate (or try to operate!) as a team and continues to come up with training ideas that work for us. Michael is very easy to work with, and the Bark Busters approach (learning to speak dog) has worked very well for me and my Lou! Well worth the investment!!

I am so glad that I reached out to BarkBusters and connected with Robert. I recently adopted a 2 year old Chihuahua “Applesauce” who has separation anxiety. In addition, Applesauce will regularly not respond to my commands/will pull on his leash during walks.

Robert instantly picked up on Applesauce’s behavior and throughout our session provided extremely helpful tips and exercises. I saw a change in response instantly with the modifications that he presented. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable and patient, he has an excellent demeanor in terms of his energy but also in regards to accountability. I strongly recommend BarkBusters/working with Robert! He exceeded all expectations!
