Sharon is amazing!! I reached out when I adopted a miniature golden doodle puppy. She came to the house and gave me the techniques I needed to teach my puppy. Within two days he was walking on a leash, when she left I had the tools to teach him not to jump on me constantly and to stop him from constantly biting on my pants and hands. Within 4 weeks he was completely potty trained. We are now 2 months in and I reached back out to Sharon as my now 5 month old puppy was starting to not obey when I was ready for him to come in from playing. Sharon responded the same day and came back to the house two days later. Within a matter of 10 minutes I had the techniques to get Milo to come inside when I decided it was time. No punishment and no treats just natural techniques they respond to. It is amazing to see Sharon have such control immediately and see my dog respond. I have been able to achieve the same results just by following her guidelines. I highly recommend Sharon. She is friendly, responsive and a great with dogs!

I honestly can’t believe the change in our dog, Daisy, after working with Bill and Holly. Daisy was fearful, nervous, and had separation anxiety. They took the time to understand her and provided us with easy-to-follow steps. Now Daisy is more relaxed and content. We owe so much to them!

Your dedication and commitment played a huge part in her success, and we’re so grateful to have been part of the journey. Daisy’s an amazing dog, and we’re excited to see all the great things ahead for her! 😊🐾

Photo of Snowball We were surprised at the speed with which our dog adapted to the training. John was aware of our concerns and our limitations (perceived or real). We were very pleased.

Photo of Tufa For those familiar with TAP’s work rescuing dogs from ESLR in Ensenada, Tufa is an ESLR survivor. This means she spent several years of her life in an unsanitary, unhealthy and dangerous environment where she lacked safe personal space. We adopted her in Dec 2023 and since the very beginning she’s been incredibly sweet and loving at home, but she had some work to do on her reactive and protective behaviors toward people and dogs. It seemed that as she got more comfortable in her new home she began to increase her protectiveness, which is completely understandable!

In her first few months, we completed a 6-week series of group trainings and a few 1:1s which worked on improving obedience but wasn’t providing the tools we needed to address real world situations when another dog or person would approach us or enter our home. So I found Bark Busters online and was able to set up an appointment with Justin. That was all it really took to change everything.

In our first appointment we learned how to communicate with Tufa in a way where she realized we were in charge at all times. We also were given new handing tools that immediately stopped her pulling on walks and allowed us to give her clear signals to prevent and stop reactivity. Within days her improvement was very noticeable, within weeks she was a completely different dog outside in the world! She is now showing everyone what a sweet dog she can be and is approaching all situations with joy and curiosity, rather than fear. Thank you, Justin!

Holly and Bill have a deep understanding of dog behavior and how to fix issues. Our dog, Buddy, had serious leash-pulling problems, and now, after working with them, he walks beautifully beside us. They gave us the right tools and advice to ensure long-term success. Couldn’t be happier!

Photo of Scout and Cooper Luis took care of all of our issues with my dogs. He made sure that we understood how to work with the dogs. I was very happy the first time I walked them alone. It was so nice not to have to run while being pulled.

Already stopped the barking just by speaking dog and praising afterwards. Amazing, awesome experience. It seems our dogs wanted direction and teaching. Our dogs seem more secure and happy. Thank you for allowing us to see changes fast. It really motivated us. It seems our dogs wanted direction and teaching. Our dogs seem more secure and happy.
