Photo of Putney As first time dog owners we didn't know what to expect from our dog or our dog trainer. Colin and June made teaching our dog look so easy. They were clear in their instructions and taught us the importance of dog management. We had success on our first exercise which was very exciting. We look forward to our next training session.

Photo of Brinnie Doug was very professional, pleasant, and positive. He was full of good ideas. I was able to call him when I ran into problems. He is a good support system and gave me confidence to continue and not give in.

Calling Bark Busters was absolutely the best decision I could have made for my Sully (Labrador/ Husky)! Ryan Brown’s approach to training humans is exceptional and thorough without being overwhelming. His techniques had positive results within minutes of the first session .... so much it brought tears of joy and relief for me. Sully is already thriving and is so happy. Ryan earned my complete trust and respect as quickly as Sulky did! If you have any behavior issues or are just lost as to what to do, don’t give up.... Call Ryan, he does help and make it all worth it!!!

Such an eye opening experience!!!!! My dog Blanca was very reactive when she saw other dogs and people. Barking, lunging, growling, crying. It was a huge discouraging and embarrassing display that forced me to schedule walks early mornings and late night when I was least likely to run into other dogs/people. Even then, I would come home feeling defeated by her reactions. I was on the verge of giving up on being able to happily walk her. Within minutes of my first visit with Lori, she taught me how to communicate with Blanca in a way that commanded an immediate response. Not only did I gain confidence in taking lead with Blanca both at home and during walks, but she is learning to check in with me. Our walks are no longer timed, and I enjoy taking her out. Our relationship is stronger and she is learning to trust me and my response when we are out, rather then reacting. Lori is a true animal lover who wants to help people have positive loving relationships where your dog looks to you for what to do next rather then thinking they have to be in control. I cant thank her enough!!!

I first worked with Marsha Engel two years ago when I first got my rescue dog. He was aggressive and didn't listen to a thing I said. I learned to communicate differently with him and he understood! I just contacted her again for some advice and she was very helpful and we are back on track.

Photo of Holly Mark was fun and knowledgeable. Our dog followed his commands and Mark was able to teach us how to train her very quickly. We are very excited to use these techniques.

I have a very young chocolate lab puppy, he was just under 11 weeks when I had my first session with Doug. My primary issues at this young age were his incessant biting and whining/crying in his crate. The difference in his biting after just one visit was amazing. I couldn't believe how well my Monty responded to the Bark Busters techniques. But as the dog owner, you must follow the techniques for this to work. Doug is helping assert that I am the pack leader and my puppy is responding.

After just one session with Ken, we feel way more in control of our 9 month old puppy. We also understand her a lot better. As a shelter dog, she's had no training to this point. Walks were a nightmare and we didn't realize she was training us - rather than the other way around. I am very confident that using the simple techniques that Ken showed us will help her become a very good dog and a loving member of our family. We look forward to our next session!
