Photo of Dan We rescued Charlie, our dog, from the SF SPCA when he was 5. After two months with us, his behavior worsened—he became reactive, aggressive, and confrontational, even biting three people who tried to pet him. Despite trying various online courses, self-led training, and other resources, progress was slow or nonexistent. On walks, Charlie would react to every person and dog, leaving us anxious both at home and outside. Desperate, we turned to Bark Busters for help.

Dan Franco quickly taught us things about Charlie that we never knew. His methods made an immediate difference—Charlie went from aggressive and reactive to calm and obedient in just one day. Now, we can walk Charlie without issue, and he’s often calm enough to ignore other dogs entirely. Dan has truly transformed our lives, and I can’t recommend him enough.

I adopted my dog on a Sunday and hired Nicole the next Friday! My rescue was dealing with separation anxiety after being in a shelter then multiple foster homes. Her crying and barking whenever I left was tough for both of us, not to mention my neighbors living in my apartment building! Nicole helped me with this issue, taught me how to crate train so she viewed it as a comfortable spot to relax in. I also purchased a ring camera so I can check in which was her idea. Lainey is now so calm and quiet when I leave, she just curls up and takes a nap!

My dog was also good on the leash but she's gotten even better with the training and group walks!

    Couldn't recommend Nicole enough!

Thank you, Jessica! It has been a pleasure to see Lainey make so much progress. I am thrilled that she is so relaxed when you're out, and it's always great to see her strutting her stuff at the group walks :)

Photo of Zeebo John was very confident in training us on how to train Zeebo. When something wasn't quite working, he was able to offer several options to find what did work. We're excited to see the results.

Photo of Damion We already feel so much better and have much better tools to properly train our dog! It's amazing how a simple switch in training style shows such an immediate result in how our dog responds to us, can't wait to see her progress.

Photo of LIFE CHANGING!!! I thought I was going to have to rehome our dog…. Sara and her knowledge/insights saved my dog and kept the dog in our home!

The “Dog Behavior Specialist” (not a “dog trainer” that trains to sit and such) was amazing!
I adopted a large breed dog for safety concerns, and that dog ended up biting my mother when she entered my house without me beside her to introduce her to the dog - the dog bit ‘the stranger’ in the house to protect me. I knew this wasn’t a bite for no reason, but the dog was becoming more and more protective of me to visitors. Sara, the Dog Behavior Specialist, was able to show me how to be the dominant presence in my own home, and to take the fear of needing to protect me out of my dog.
In just a few hours Sara was able to stop the lunging, barking, and growling! We have been practicing what was taught to myself and my dog daily and have not had another incident (3 weeks now)! Sara was amazing at explaining to me the behaviors of my dog, taught me to “speak dog”, established me as the strong leader (that doesn’t need protecting) in my dog’s mind, and stopped ALL aggressive behaviors in JUST ONE VISIT!!!
I honestly was believing that I would have to relinquish the dog back to the shelter because of the aggression and the bite… but Sara TRANSFORMED my dog’s and my relationship so that the dog has become an amazing companion!
…and it is for LIFETIME of the dog! I have already contacted Sara after our first session to ask other questions and she has gotten back to me promptly! I have already set up a second session for more insights to having visitors over to my house as I am expecting company within 2 weeks - just as a refresher for Athena, my dog, and me!

Photo of Kong, Roscoe, Draco With the help of Orlando dogs walk better on leash without pulling, aggression with one dog was a little better than the first time they met.
