I wasn't sure what I was doing was working to stop my puppy from barking, so I contacted Bark Busters. After the session, I saw what I was doing absolutely wasn't working! Now I know what to do and I am happy to know the right way to address the behavior.

Hands down, the best decision I have ever made was bringing Bark Busters on as part of our puppy support team! Starting with my initial call, all my questions were answered and I could tell we were in good hands. After meeting with Kayla for our initial session, I couldn't be happier with our decision. She was extremely attentive to our dog and both my partner & I interactions with him. She took the time to really get to know us and our dog, pointing out what we were doing right and where we needed improvement, giving us very well catered homework to put into practice every day.
PermalinkTheir methods are intuitive, centering building your bond with your dog. As a pet parent with an adolescent pup, we are dealing with a one heck of a stubborn streak. It's amazing to see how responsive he's been already. But most importantly, he seems even happier and more secure in himself.
I'll be recommending Kayla and Bark Busters to anyone who has a dog, because I wouldn't want anyone else in my corner helping to raise a happy, confident dog.

We first hired Bark Busters Lake Norman 5 years ago when we had two, small senior dogs. I was pregnant and wasn't sure how our dogs would handle the transition, plus there were a number of behaviors we had ignored over the years that would be unacceptable once the baby came. I swore after that first visit they had somehow swapped our dogs for two well behaved dogs when we weren't looking! They took so much time with us, made sure we understood everything, and were always there for us any time we needed them. When the time came for our boys to cross the rainbow bridge, Diane and John were there for us offering advice and support and just over all going above and beyond the call of duty. We recently got a puppy and calling Diane and John to help with him was a no brainer. We LOVE Bark Busters Lake Norman!!

We had a very positive experience with Erin. Our problem is with aggression in a 2 year shepherd we adopted. She spent a lot of time with us on our first visit. Over and above what we expected. The first day after his first session and he’s already catching on. It turns out what we originally thought we were supposed to be doing only encouraged his aggressive behavior. Erin is very knowledgeable and obviously very passionate about her business. Highly Recommend!
