Dan showed up a few minutes early to the house And told me all about the program and what to expect. He was very thorough reviewing and showing me how bark busters works through non-aggressive training. I have a Jack Russell named Olive who is four months old and if anybody knows anything about Jack Russells, they are crazy active. She calmed down and watched and listen to his commands and actually obeyed. Of course the trick will be to see if I can get the same results. lol

Karina is fantastic and my puppy really likes her. This is my first dog so I am nervous! Karina explained things so well that I feel more confident in my ability to teach my puppy how to be a good dog. And she will be available when I have questions or problems. So happy I found Karina and Barkbusters!!!

Photo of Oakley I cannot stress how incredible my first session with Josh was. I have an incredibly loving Australian Shepherd but for the past 8 months had started to bark at anything and everything that passed by our house. Every time someone came to my house he would bark non-stop for about 10 minutes straight and the same thing when I took him on a walk. I could not understand why this started happening to the most loving and easy-going dog and everything I tried to do failed to help him. My first session with Josh was so incredibly informative and the almost instantaneous results I saw I literally could not believe. I was sitting there in absolute awe. An hour and a half into the first session my dog walked past 3 grown men and a leaf blower (all of which would have set him off into non-stop barking) without a second thought. Every walk he's been on since has been quiet and he loves walking again. I've had people over to the house 3 times since the session and the most I'll get is one initial bark and once I correct him immediately, he instantly backs down and listens quietly. I wish I could give Josh and Bark Busters more than 5 stars. My dog literally falling asleep while someone is working on my house feet away from him as I am writing this....this has not happened in almost a year.

Photo of Well, all I can say is our experience has been incredible. We have a 10 year old lab and a 3 1/2 year old mixed breed. Although they are both great dogs they have some very bad habits…barking and snitching food from the kitchen and very hard to take on walks. After one session, Josh taught us how to control all of these behaviors. Amazing ? highly recommend Josh and the company. It is expensive but remember, you get what you pay for. It is well worth it. Photo of Bark Busters, specifically Ryanne Jasmin, has helped train us and our dog in a very clear and specific manner. The methods are easy, respectful and consistent. This has resulted in a happier and more loving relationship with our dog. She provides us with clear feedback while training, is patient with us and makes sure we master the skill before she leaves. She follows up with video clips on the skills, hand outs, and a training log. We are able to contact her when we feel stuck and she gets back to us the same day. The training is paid for as a lifetime of the dog investment, and it is a investment that will be well worth it. Thus as our dog matures and changes we are able to get training as needed. It is also transferable to other Bark Busters should we move. I have tried other trainers and did not make much progress. Within a day we started to see changes and continue to see the changes as we practice the skills and learn more. I highly recommend Ryanne and Bark Busters.

We have 3 dogs (1 older and 2 younger) They are relatively well-behaved around us, however, they had a habit of barking loudly and aggressively at other people. It got to the point that we actually felt we couldn’t have people come over to the house.

We had a a construction project coming up at our house. Knowing there would be different strangers in and out for a period of weeks, we knew it was time to do something. We did some research on dog trainers and after some anxiety and a poor phone experience with a different trainer, we found Ruth at Bark Busters.

Ruth comes to the house which we felt was important. We also saw that there were a lot of positive reviews mentioning her specifically.

Our experience was very positive. I could tell almost right away that not only was Ruth very experienced, but she really cares about dogs and understands them.

The training method is positive for the dog (not negative). It is not cruel and it is very effective. The goal is to train the people in the house to train the dog(s), which appealed to me. Ruth gave us some simple, yet effective tools to help us get the dog’s attention so you can communicate to them what you want them to do.

Her communication is great. She takes the time to be sure you understand what she is explaining. She also strongly encourages clients to text or call her right away whenever there are questions or frustrations.
it is not just lip service, she responds !

Photo of Bo / Louie Josh was amazing with our dogs plus he provided clear and concise directions on how to help us guide are dogs. We noticed a considerable difference in our dogs in the first training session. We look forward to learning new techniques.

Louie and Bo responded very well during our first session. We worked on their overall behavior as well as leash manners and front door manners. Now that Shawna has stepped up as the leader in the home the dogs are able to relax. Louie didn't react to the doorbell for the first time in years!

Kristyn is incredible! She met the whole family and gave us great techniques to help with our dogs behavior. Lincoln had already learned so much by the end of the first session. Kristyn answered any and all questions we had and gave great detail in every technique she provided! Bark Busters is amazing!!!!

I cannot say enough good things about this training! Our dog Zoey is a rescue and has struggled with behavioral problems and anxiety for almost 8 years. I have tried (and wasted so much money on) trainers and training methods that just have't worked. She is a very sweet and intelligent dog that has been through a lot and we just didn't know how to help her! When her issues started to escalate (aggression towards people) I did some research and reached out to Kevin. Right from the start he was great at communicating and made the process so easy and pleasant. He even reached out to let us know that an earlier appointment date had opened up -this was a godsend because we were pretty desperate for help at this point. He taught us so much about Zoey, her potential, and how to communicate with her more clearly and effectively. I would argue we needed the training more than she did. His approach focuses on clear, consistent communication and earning respect through establishing rules and boundaries. It takes commitment and consistency from us, but I was completely amazed how well she responded to this training. It's not like the reward based "performing tricks" methods we've been taught before (which doesn't ultimately work). Working with Kevin has completely transformed the way we interact with Zoey and in short, she is simply a different dog. She seems happier, less anxious, and eager to adhere to the training. I look forward to follow up sessions as needed! Thank you Kevin!

We just started with training, but within those 3 hrs of just watching and learning, I was beyond impressed. We were walking with loose leashes for a moment. Again just the first lesson, but my baby was never so behaved. I saw their response and I'm so happy to have met a great trainer to guide us.
