We adopted Barry on Saturday and by Sunday, we knew we needed some training quickly. We had experience with the Bark Busters method with our other dog, Clark. Derek was able to schedule us for Monday evening and spent about three hours making sure he covered training for the issues we were having with Barry, as well as some reminders for Clark. Before Derek came, we could not get Barry's attention to do anything. By the time we were finished with our first training session, Barry was calm and reacting to our commands. Derek dealt with door control and space so we were deciding when the dogs would greet guests, helped us work on distance control, and even got us outside walking the dogs with the goal of eventually walking both of them at the same time. With the homework he gave us, we have noticed a change in the dogs' energy and a willingness to follow our leadership. We have been amazed at how quickly both dogs have shown such improvement with the Bark Buster methods!

Before signing on with bark busters I read these rave reviews and was skeptical, primarily because my husband and I never had good experience with dog trainers. We only knew the click, treat, repeat type of training which was simply superficial and limited.

We hired bark busters--Derek came to our house the beginning of February and gave us real tools that work. Our older aggressive dog is responding to the techniques we learned and our new puppy is learning to behave. Specifically we have taught them to walk on leash without the pulling, to stop rushing to door, to come when called--not just when we have food in our hands.

If you work the program you will get results.

Where do I start?! Lissette and Derek are absolutely amazing! I was having serious trouble with three dogs. Two of my dogs are brother and sister and our family took on another dog. Our dogs were always barking and attacking the front door , jumping on everyone , the could NOT walk on a leash with out pulling .Our family was having such a hard time getting the three dogs to be together and live harmoniously. The dogs had aggression and anxiety. Our house was a three ring circus! Lissette and Derek worked with us and our dogs to help train them all. Now my dogs are not attacking the front door, jumping on people, whining, and growling at each other. They are all able to be in the same room and roam the house together. Lissette returned any phone calls or texts promptly and always let me know she was available to help. she came over regularly to check on our progress. Lissette and Derek are true professionals and I am so thankful for what they have taught my family.

I have a yappy Pomeranian. Anything and everything she will bark at. There was no method I used that could make her stop. That was until Lissette came to my home on a Tuesday night. In a matter of 2 hours she was able to to sit, stay, walk on a leash properly and stop barking without giving her any treats. I didn't think it was possible for my dog not to do anything without treats but she sure did. Every day we train and we can go for walks without the whole world knowing we are out walking. Her barking at home is down to a minimum, which I'm sure my neighbor appreciates. She doesn't charge at the door when I leave or come home. I can sleep at night since she's not barking at every sound. She will sit and stay on command and I don't have to scream for her to do it. I FaceTimed my mom and sister because they didn't believe a dog can change so much in such little time. They were convinced my dog was switched out for a new one because the change was just that noticeable. Today is Saturday so that means she's been in training for 5 days. Lissette has made such a huge impact in our lives. Thank you!

Amazing! I have a 10 month old french bulldog who has a lot of fear but acts like a tough guy. We had issues with his biting and controlling our house. Derek and Lissette taught us how to take control. They gave us the tools and lessons. It's amazing how their business works and it's for the life of my Brobro. I know with any situation I can text Lissette or Derek and can get a response instead of being frustrated. It's great to have mentors in anything you want to achieve. Being a leader to my dog is what I wanted so we can all be happy together. Every day he gets better and better. You get what you put in. Invest in yourself and dog and hire bark busters. Thank you guys!

Just had an amazing experience with Derek from Bark Busters. We have a Dogo Argentino who is aggressive with house guests. Derek was informative and knowledgeable about our breed. He recommended a diet based on her needs, literature and educated us on long term health care for our member of our family.
Remarkably, this disobedient dog, listened immediately to Derek's commands.
We look forward to future training as we anticipate successful results.
I highly recommend Bark Busters for training of your pets for whatever your training goals are.

Thank you Lisette for our first lesson with our headstrong and independent Australian Cattle dog! Although we had taken obedience classes it didn't help our boy with his aggression issues. During the first lesson Lisette helped us be consistent and in charge with verbal correction. No treats or harsh tools involved! After chatting with us about our boy and his brother, what they eat, how they interact, and what their life is like, she quickly understood his issues and developed a plan to desensitize him. What a difference! Before she left we were even able to enter the closet with the vacuum cleaner without him becoming agitated and know by doing our homework we'll be able to turn it on later with the same calm results. The boys were waiting away from the front door with small corrections instead of being underfoot and in a visitor's space. Lisette helped us to practice the exercises so we could work on our own with confidence. Before leaving she verbally went over the exercises and sent videos for us to watch just in case we need to refresh ourselves on the steps. She made certain we had both her and Derek's cell numbers, and reassured us that we could call or text with questions anytime and they would come back before the next lesson if we needed help. She made suggestions and provided a websites for items that would help our boy. The house was calmer and quieter the very first day! Our walk was easier and fun for us all as he was able to relax and begin to ignore the barking small dogs, and other people and dogs walking. Lisette is a great teacher and understands what the dogs needs as well as the humans with significant results after the first lesson!

I was very impressed that treats or "punishment" are not used. My 2 yr old English Mastiff came to me a little over a month ago. He had no leash training or obedience training at all. His other people literally drug him around by his collar! Derek helped me get a collar on Henry and we walked around my yard on leash to very good results.
Henry and I did about 18 minutes today on leash, and he did very well. He has been wearing his collar for a couple hours today, and doesn't seem to know it is on him. This is progress!

Derek and Lissette are so amazing at what they do they are there for you with just a phone call away even text or email messaging. we adopted captain 1yr old Labrador and they began training him while he was in the rescue home and they have done 2 sessions 2-3 hour sessions, of course helping and guiding us how to educate and correct him of what's right and wrong easy techniques. Of course we totally recommend bark busters for any dog training you need no matter what age your dog is....thanks Derek and Lissette from the Cruz family

"NO!" "STOP!" "Bad girl!" "AHHH!" All common and constant things said (yelled) in our house before we called Bark Busters. I have owned dogs before, but none as unruly as our sweet puppy Penelope. I say "sweet" because deep down we knew she was, and saw glimpses of it occasionally. Derek came out and trained us how to "think dog". He was at our house for about 2.5-3 hours the first time working with us and Penelope, then gave us homework! A little like school, having to remember things and do things a certain way, and having the pay off at the end. It's been over a month since we called Derek for help and the changes we have seen in our Penny are amazing. "It is a marathon, not a sprint." She is no where near winning the "Most Behaved Dog" award, but she's on her way. Now in our house you'll hear more, "Good girl!" "Good... (command, mostly leave it and drop it)" "Thank you for the kisses!" and "What a sweet girl! (because she is more now)" I only regret not calling them sooner and saving myself months of frustration! There's a reason they're the best, and worth every single penny!!
