I've worked with dog trainers before and have never seen such quick progress with my dog Phoebe. Before joining Bark Busters, Phoebe would bark at every chance, cry when left alone, and raise hell on the leash. But after working with Amanda for just a few sessions, she's practically done a 180! It's also reassuring to know that we have long-term support and training if we need. If you're considering Bark Busters, let this be your sign to take the plunge!

Love how quick Michael responded i called him left voicemail and he called back within 5 minutes and he came out to my house within a week I learned alot from him and he answered all my questions by the time he left my house I was happy to see that my dog Bear is trainable love how passionate Michael is I would definitely recommend him to anyone

I went into this training with an open mind but was skeptical when I heard it wasn’t reward based training. After 1 month our previously very reactive pup has made amazing progress. We went from not being able to have people in the house to hosting friends while he laid in his bed. No barking, no jumping on guests just hanging out with others in the room. Even when playing with other dogs we can get his attention and have him follow our commands. Fully a believer in bar busters and can’t wait to see how our dog continues to progress.

In 2023, we interviewed several dog trainers and decided to move forward with Bark Busters. At the time, we didn’t have a barking issue and were more focused on housebreaking and general manners. Bark Busters helped us work through these issues pretty quickly and we’ve been very happy with our two pups behavior.
PermalinkRecently, one of our pups found his voice and has been barking a lot. We reached out to Bark Busters and they came out within a couple of days to assist. In just one day, we are seeing huge progress on the barking. I never would have thought it would be this easy or quick.
We have been very happy with our decision to entrust our dog training to Bark Busters. They are so easy to work with, have a lot of experience with a multitude of behavioral issues, and have different approaches to getting the desired behavior from your pups!
Would definitely recommend them if you are struggling with getting your dogs to behave!

Stacey & Shane are amazing! They made Our first training session with my 4 year old chihuahua mix go as smooth as possible! From start to finish they were so patient with my boyfriend and I as well as our pup Malibu. They were very encouraging and even after our first session they continue to reach out and check on her, send a lot of great information to help her, etc.! We are so excited to continue the training and so grateful that we found people who would be patient and encouraging for our girl! Thank you guys so much!!

We cannot even begin to express how grateful we are for James and Bark Busters! We’ve had our sweet rescue, Quavo, for over a year. When we first adopted him, he was fearful and anxious — traits that followed him from the shelter. His separation anxiety was severe, so we initially tried another training company that used e-collars, but unfortunately, his anxiety only got worse. I do not recommend. During that time, a new behavior started: he began snapping at people. Although he never bit anyone, the snapping was scary for our friends and family and was seriously impacting our lives. It was heartbreaking to see Quavo so anxious and unsettled around people, especially because he’s such a sweet boy once he trusts you. After just two sessions with James, EVERYTHING changed. When my family came to visit, they were able to pet and snuggle Quavo without any issues — no snapping AT ALL. It felt like we were one big happy family— something we always dreamed of. I always believed in Quavo, but I honestly didn’t expect to see such fast results. This has truly been life-changing for all of us! (Included a photo of Quavo snuggling with my mom because I still can’t believe it!) Quavo also used to struggle with leash walking, fixating on other dogs and making walks stressful. Thanks to James, walks are now enjoyable, and Quavo has improved so much. We are beyond grateful for James. His training style is incredible — he trains YOU on how to train your dog & how to properly communicate with them. He explains everything clearly and uses gentle, kind methods. He’s honest & you can tell he truly loves dogs and understands each family’s unique situation. I couldn’t recommend James or Bark Busters more. We’re so thankful to have ongoing support for Quavo throughout his life. They have truly been life savers! I’m so grateful that Quavo is able to relax and that people can now see the sweet loving boy he truly is!❤️

Johnny Jumper and Bark Busters have helped our family so much over the last 2 1/2 years with our first pup Elroy, and now with adding on our puppy Apollo. Quick responses and helpful advice/guidance have been extremely appreciated. We look forward to many years of working with Bark Busters and Johnny Jumper.
