Photo of Chicken and Nugget We decided to hire a trainer for our dogs as our baby was starting to be mobile and wanted to learn how to correctly handle any unwanted behavior. Our dogs were not total menaces but not angels either when we started. Brandon has made this an amazing experience for us- our dogs are living in harmony with the baby, the barking at the window has been all but eliminated, and taking walks is beginning to be enjoyable! We’ve noticed a huge change for the better in the dogs and Brandon has given us the confidence to guide them. He also has taken the time to get to know our family and understand our needs. I cannot recommend him enough, he’s improved our lives!

Sharon at Bark Busters has really helped me develop the right behaviors to bring out the best in my beautiful Bernie doodle...BAYOU. I've never really trained a puppy before, but Sharon breaks down the skills and demonstrates them so well... we get a nearly instant response. Bark Busters can help you with short-term issues...or like us...you can have her be available for the life of your dog....as their (your) needs change. It's a GREAT INVESTMENT in a well-behaved and happier fur friend.

I had such an amazing experience with Jared and it’s only been 2 lessons so far. My original concerns with Luna (my dog) was her excessive barking and separation anxiety. During training, I remembered that she also has no recall, LOL. Anyways, Luna’s 7 years old, she’s the first dog I’ve ever really tried “training” with, and she only knows your basic commands (sit, down, paw, stay, leave it) but I had absolutely no idea what to do about her separation anxiety or barking. She’ll bark at whatever sounds she hears and whatever she sees outside of our apartment.

Our first lesson with Jared was great, he taught me how to correct Luna’s behavior and how to read her body language. He actually even showed me that Luna actually knew how to heel and was really good at walking (with Jared at least.. LOL). He showed me some practices/training I could do with Luna on my own time. He’s extremely knowledgeable and really patient. There were times where I just didn’t catch onto Luna’s body language or I didn’t know when to correct her and Jared was there to help me recognize those behaviors.

After the first lesson, Luna hardly barks at the sounds she hears and the people, cars, and/or animals she’ll see outside of our apartment. Surprisingly, this has lead into her separation anxiety as well. She hardly cries now when we are gone for work, which we are so grateful for. It was extremely stressful for us when she was gone. Now we’re currently working on her recall and honestly, it’s been going great so far. Even with all the YouTube videos or advice all over the internet, I just couldn’t get a grip on what to do with Luna or how to get it to work — until I found Jared!! I honestly couldn’t recommend him more!

Photo of Ace We interviewed John Torres 2 times for an hour each time. What he said he could do seemed far fetched. His guarantee of success by the end of the first training was achieved. We are now the boss and he is our playful puppy! Thank you

    Karen is awesome.
The lesson plans worked. I was surprised how quickly I was able to see the changes.
Over the last couple months my dog changed a lot.
The loud barking behind my head when on my computer. Fixed
Pulling and biting the leash on walks. Fixed
Chasing my cat, jumping on me, stealing the other animals food...etc
He is now the dog I wanted when I got him.

    Thank you Karen!

We started with Johnny to help with our first dog, Elroy about 3 years ago. He was a 1 year rescue Pitbull with no leash manners, reactivity to people and dogs, and serious resource guarding. Our sessions with Johnny gave my wife and I confidence to know that Elroy was safe and able to work with and improve. Through the right guidance, training, and tools Elroy is now an amazing family dog who loves going hiking and enjoys going out almost anywhere with us. With much consulting with Johnny we decided Elroy was ready to bring another dog into our family, so about 7 months ago we added Apollo, a 2 month old Rottweiler. Johnny has continue to support us from introducing the dogs to each other, each stage of Apollo's puppy development, and now continued training and development for both dogs together. Johnny has been extremely supportive with any dog related questions and we love that he is able to help us with anything we want to add to our dogs skill set as well as encouraging us to try new things to enrich our dogs.

Patrick was really good. It took a few visits and some trial and error but he stuck with us and the pulling stoped. Nice nice person and very competent

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Scott! In just one visit we learned how to stop our dog from being reactive to doorbells, how to calmly let guests in/out of our home, how to recall our dog, and how claim our space and furniture back. Interestingly in just a few hours our dog learned the system/tools he put into place and we were left in a positive space of feeling like we are ready to practice and implement all we learned over the next few weeks. We could not be more appreciative of Scott’s time and expertise.

Photo of I thought I would never be able to walk my two energetic dogs without them pulling and barking at other dogs. I started going early or taking different routes because it was so stressful. When I finally couldn't take it any longer, I hired Bark Busters. James was incredible and I couldn't believe the results. Within the first session, it was a huge improvement. After several months now, they are much more well behaved and walking them is fun again! I wish I had done this sooner. Best investment ever!
