Welcome. I'm Larry Rudginsky your Bark Busters Dog Trainer and Dog Behavioral Therapist in Greenville. I have been helping dogs and their families since 2005.

Our method is simple, effective and dog centered; backed by over 30 years of development worldwide. So whether your dog is a puppy or an older dog you will see results in your first session.

In home dog training. I work with you and your dog right in your home because that’s where your dog is constantly learning. We want to make sure that s/he is learning what is ok and what is not ok. Once you are succeeding in your home we will move those skills into the outside world – so wherever you go you are succeeding.

We empower you to succeed. Our training is about building the relationship you want with your dog – a relationship built on Love, Trust and Respect. When leadership is clear – everything becomes easier – for you and your dog. Leadership for us means the “Good Boss” relationship. For the Good Boss we will do anything because we know the Good Boss is on our side and committed to our success.

No harsh methods. No shock collars, prong collars, or rolling dogs on their back. We believe those take away from our relationship with our dogs. Our method is incredibly flexible and adaptable. We can as gentile as a soft blanket with a young puppy or direct and clear with an aggressive dog.

We are committed to your success. I will be your personal coach – helping both you and your dog to succeed. As a former teacher I am able adapt to your personal learning style. I will guide you and your dog step by step to the goal you desire – a well behaved dog that listens and responds to you.

Larry, was professional right from the start. His calm mannerisms made my dog (2.5 yo Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix) and I feel at ease. Larry is very in tune with behaviors/“body language” of your dog. If he feels they are uncomfortable or nervous, he will stop and make sure you give your pup positive attention to reinforce they are doing a good job. Larry will make sure you understand the exercises and gives his undivided attention to you and your dog. He has a goal for you and your dog, but keeps sessions light and fun! Training still in progress, but I have learned invaluable tools to better communicate with my dog and have already seen improvements. I have enjoyed creating a new found mutual appreciation with my dog facilitated with love and kindness by Larry!

Larry has been wonderful! This is my FOURTH trainer and I've seen more progress in the last two sessions with him than I did over the course of months with my other trainer. I was skeptical at first when I read they train with communicating with the dog versus typical bribing techniques or harsh punishments. But from hour one, my dog has responded so much quicker and better with this technique versus any other technique. I can use this technique anywhere with anyone and my dog actually listens! We've still got a lot to work on, but I'm for once confident that I can get to my end goal. Larry is super patient, shows you grace as you learn, and is HIGHLY skilled in speaking and understanding dog.

Larry has been instrumental in helping us with our dogs "sibling rivalry". He has worked slowly and methodically to get the dogs to trust each other as well as help us build confidence in being the pack leader! He approaches every situation individually and has helped calm our household down so much. Our dogs could not be in the same room together and now we are all able to share the house/yard together. Great experience with our two Boston Terriers! Larry came to our house and started in home training to socialize and alleviate aggression in our 1 year old “rescue” Boston with trust issues due to lack of socialization and proper handling. Step by step Larry educated us and our dog as to how to address his fears and aggressive behavior due to those fears. Larry came to our home and transitioned us to work with them in an Home Depot and eventually into a busy park situation with other dogs and children running around. He met with us 10 times for an hour and a half each and will meet with us any time in the future for “refresher” work or go over any problems that may arise. When they say they are there for the dogs lifetime they really do mean it! Highly recommend Bark Busters and particularly Greenville, SC’s Larry Rudginsky !!! Great experience!

We can’t thank Bark Busters and Larry Rudginsky enough for our now well-behaved dog. We were desperate and needed immediate help for our then10-month-old mini-Aussie due to inappropriate barking at neighborhood dogs who barked uncontrollably all day long. We were also unable to take Kiwi out of our driveway or walk him on the street because of his behavior of herding and lunging at cars. We are amazed at Kiwi’s transformation! Training in our home environment was necessary since Kiwi’s previous training was not able to address the difficulties we faced. After several training visits teaching us how to be effective dog parents as well as the skills to employ during problem behaviors, we now have a well-trained dog who is a joy to be around. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to use Bark Busters and Larry. We highly recommend both Larry and Bark Busters, if you want to end your dogs problem behavior for good.

After the first lesson with my 4 crazy loud and stubborn dogs, I saw instant improvement. Every lesson since the first day has improved all of my dogs’ behaviors along with giving me confidence. Walking our dogs used to be a very unpleasant thing because of pulling and lack of control. We had tried all kinds of methods and tools, but things did not improve much. And then Uncle Larry at Bark Busters came to the rescue with his magic words and walking harnesses. The change was immediate. We wish we had called him years ago. That alone was worth every penny. When we started, Biscuit constantly barked aggressively at our neighbor or anyone who walked past our yard. Additionally, he would charge out the door whenever it was opened and run right into whoever was trying to get out the door. With Larry’s help, he now will sit and wait. When he is outside and we say “in,” he immediately goes to the door. He has also quit barking at our neighbors! We were a little taken aback by the price but now believe it was a fantastic investment. Clearly, WE needed to be trained!

JUST WOW what a improvement!! When Larry came to our house the first time Roux was a hand full form the time she woke until bed time. We saw improvements after the first visit and equal improvements after each additional meeting. Today we continue to work with Roux regularly and are still seeing improvements. Cindy and I are convinced "Uncle Larry" speaks puppy dog and understands their response. So if you need help with a unruly pup look no further than Barkbusters and Uncle Larry.

Wish I would have heard about Larry and Bark Busters sooner! Our dog is a new and improved version of himself! I needed help with jumping, walking on the lead, and running the fence line.
Larry listened to my concerns and walked me thru the training program and each of the modules.
In one week - I definitely see an improvement. My trainer Larry Rudginsky was very helpful, very knowledgeable and kind.
