Welcome. I'm Larry Rudginsky your Bark Busters Dog Trainer and Dog Behavioral Therapist in Greenville. I have been helping dogs and their families since 2005.

Our method is simple, effective and dog centered; backed by over 30 years of development worldwide. So whether your dog is a puppy or an older dog you will see results in your first session.

In home dog training. I work with you and your dog right in your home because that’s where your dog is constantly learning. We want to make sure that s/he is learning what is ok and what is not ok. Once you are succeeding in your home we will move those skills into the outside world – so wherever you go you are succeeding.

We empower you to succeed. Our training is about building the relationship you want with your dog – a relationship built on Love, Trust and Respect. When leadership is clear – everything becomes easier – for you and your dog. Leadership for us means the “Good Boss” relationship. Larry helped our household greatly. We have two dogs, but our bulldog has been our behavioral priority as he is about 100lbs but thinks he's 10. He was dangerous due to his severe anxiety and size, and we were terrified that we were going to need to find a new home for him. We have a baby and had to create separation of the living spaces due to the safety risks, but Larry helped us bring more unity back into the home, SAFELY. My dog Sophie is a rescue who didn't quite see me as alpha or care to listen to me. Even after the first session with Larry I saw an improvement. His training tactics gently set boundaries that Sophie has continued to follow in our practice sessions and in our life together. He provided all necessary tools for training which were included in the cost. I also have peace of mind knowing that there is lifelong support included in the training cost as well. We can’t thank Bark Busters and Larry Rudginsky enough for our now well-behaved dog. We were desperate and needed immediate help for our then10-month-old mini-Aussie due to inappropriate barking at neighborhood dogs who barked uncontrollably all day long. We were also unable to take Kiwi out of our driveway or walk him on the street because of his behavior of herding and lunging at cars. We are amazed at Kiwi’s transformation! Training in our home environment was necessary since Kiwi’s previous training was not able to address the difficulties we faced. After several training visits teaching us how to be effective dog parents as well as the skills to employ during problem behaviors, we now have a well-trained dog who is a joy to be around. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to use Bark Busters and Larry. We highly recommend both Larry and Bark Busters, if you want to end your dogs problem behavior for good.

After the first lesson with my 4 crazy loud and stubborn dogs, I saw instant improvement. Every lesson since the first day has improved all of my dogs’ behaviors along with giving me confidence. Walking our dogs used to be a very unpleasant thing because of pulling and lack of control. We had tried all kinds of methods and tools, but things did not improve much. And then Uncle Larry at Bark Busters came to the rescue with his magic words and walking harnesses. The change was immediate. We wish we had called him years ago. That alone was worth every penny. When we started, Biscuit constantly barked aggressively at our neighbor or anyone who walked past our yard. Additionally, he would charge out the door whenever it was opened and run right into whoever was trying to get out the door. With Larry’s help, he now will sit and wait. When he is outside and we say “in,” he immediately goes to the door. He has also quit barking at our neighbors! We were a little taken aback by the price but now believe it was a fantastic investment. Clearly, WE needed to be trained!

JUST WOW what a improvement!! When Larry came to our house the first time Roux was a hand full form the time she woke until bed time. We saw improvements after the first visit and equal improvements after each additional meeting. Today we continue to work with Roux regularly and are still seeing improvements. Wish I would have heard about Larry and Bark Busters sooner! Our dog is a new and improved version of himself! I needed help with jumping, walking on the lead, and running the fence line.
Larry listened to my concerns and walked me thru the training program and each of the modules.
In one week - I definitely see an improvement. My trainer Larry Rudginsky was very helpful, very knowledgeable and kind. Larry was incredibly good with demonstrating good leadership skills while being very kind to my dogs which is extremely important. I purchased Bark Busters Home Dog Training when I realized Brio and I needed a better relationship.Brio would bark, growl, and snap at people when they arrived. He would not drop or release anything in his month - he would threaten you with a growl and then bite. He also tugged on leash and refused to listen. I starting searching for trainers that fitted my way of thinking toward positive behavior and not harsh methods. Larry told me about his company and their methods and gave me the information I needed. From day one he taught me methods of positive enforcement, leadership, body language; that I use get Brio to listen and obey. Larry knows canine psychology and he had the situation under control from the moment he met Brio. After two sessions Brio continues to improve. Larry makes his instructions easy to follow and takes his time to make sure you understand your homework assignments. I feel confident that Bark Busters is just the right thing for Brio and he will be a happier dog because of his training.

We are so happy to have found Larry. We have two german shepherds, Ella and Layla. We had problems with them fighting, jumping on people and barking at visitors coming in the door. After the first visit with Larry we saw a difference in both dogs through the methods he taught us to use. Larry has been working with us for three months. He is the most patient person with the two of us and he is very patient with both dogs. I think he talks their language. When we first started this process I had my doubts about this working. Since Larry gave us the tools and knowledge of what to do I know now that we are on our way to success. I would highly recommend Larry to anyone who are at your wits end and don't know what to do. He has given us back some sanity.

Before Bark Busters, Gus was high strung and wild. He was escaping and running from us. He was terrorizing our cat and was too rough with our other dog. Since working with Larry & Bark Busters, we can tell a huge difference with Gus. He listens and responds to us now very quickly. He is acting like a totally different dog. He is much calmer and listens better. He is still a work in progress, but now he is responding. Bark Busters is a great program. Marko had been through a lot of changes for a young dog. His owner died unexpectedly and he came to live with us in the middle of us moving. He was rambunctious, overly needy and generally acting like a very young pup. He is now 18 months old and weighs 90 lbs. Both my husband and I were unable to handle him due to his strength. We needed guidance in how to get him to listen and behave without any abuse.
Larry listened to Markos history and addressed his issues logically and with great compassion. He has taught us how to be the "leaders". He has been very positive, very encouraging and has shown us how to be firm and in charge with Marko. He has stayed in touch and has assured us that we will be able to have him behave as needed.
Marko has shown great improvement in behavior and in listening. He is maturing into his age and his intelligence is extraordinary. This is the first German Shepard I have ever worked with or owned. I have owned a number of dogs for both search and rescue and show. Larry has taught us an entirely new way of addressing dog behavior and it is working wonderfully. He has been patient and very instructive in working with us.
I would definitely recommend Bark Busters to anyone with a pet. The rates are very reasonable and the availability of the trainer is fantastic.
