I cannot say enough about how wonderful Amber and her guidance on how to "speak dog" have been so helpful and literally life changing for both us and our girlies! Our golden retriever had the WORST anxiety. It was to the point that we could not take her outside of the house anywhere, not even the sidewalk in front of our house, as she would be visibly trembling and literally become incontinent. We were at our wit's end and did not know how to help her. Our vet wound up having to put her on three medications for anxiety, and we were saddened that it seemed she was calmer but was losing her personality. We got connected with Amber, and our golden retriever immediately fell in love with her. Amber has guided us with patience on how to be firm and follow through with our girl, and she has grown immensely from learning how to self-soothe during thunder storms, to no longer demanding pets or sticking to our feet everywhere we go (a "velcro dog," as Amber calls it), has started going on walks for the first time in her life, and can sit on place without moving when we leave the room for 4+ hours. The difference has been night and day, and we are so grateful.
PermalinkWhen we added Belle to our family a couple of months ago, Nami regressed some, as she started being more impulsive, lacking the self-control to obey commands she has known since she was four months old, and not respecting boundaries when her sister is done or does not want to play. Amber was super flexible with scheduling coming over to our home and met Belle and gave us so many tools and so much guidance on how to command, take control, follow through, and affirm both of our girlies. By the time she departed our home, they were both making better choices and working hard to receive those positive reinforcements.
Every cent has been worth it. She is accessible, kind, loving, and so so helpful. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you so much, Amber! ❤️

My Labradoodle Ozzie has such high energy. He's impossible to walk because he pulls so hard and wants to meet every dog he sees. He barks and jumps on guests constantly. I wanted to fix this behavior before the Thanksgiving and Christmas parties. Then I found Bark Buster's! Their training is exactly what I was looking for. They are in- home trainers that use a holistic approach. No harsh devices and NO treat training. We had a previous trainer who used treats and that didn't work for long. The first visit went great! Heather explained everything and took a detailed history on Ozzie. He was 80% improved after just a couple hours. I couldn't believe the difference! AND they offer a lifetime guarantee of support. So if he has any more behavioral issues, she will come back at no extra cost! I couldn't be happier with the new and improved Oz

Nicole is amazingly knowledgeable about dogs and very well prepared. We did several “mother dog” and recall exercises with my hyper 5 month old puppy, Jojo, and the response was immediate! I actually had a much easier than usual afternoon and evening with Jojo as a result.

Saw results already by the end of my first session with Deb and puppy Alexei! It was really me being trained as I became educated on how to interact with Alexei with communication and praising. Amazing!

I have had Rottweilers for years. My new new boy is gonna be big, and after the walk where he dragged me on the ground, I figured we both needed professional training! Justine is amazing. She is very knowledgeable and patient. The teaching is easy to implement. We are on the road to being a better doggy parent and doggy!

Scott spent almost 5 hours with us the first day to get our puppy ready to start training! We could already see an improvement in her that evening and into the next day! Our trainer Justine has been incredibly helpful. As a family with a baby, we were worried that our dog Desmond would not be manageable while being so busy. Justine helped show us not only where we need to start, but how we can implement these corrections into our every day lives. Justine has been communicative and supportive in every way we could ask, and with the in home trainings we have had there has already been huge improvement. The support and coaching Justine has given us to help our dog has been invaluable, especially for a family who was on the verge of giving up. Thank you Justine for everything you have done, and I highly recommend anyone who feels like their dog is a lost cause to reach out to Justine, who will quickly show you it is not impossible!
