Steve was fantastic. He came over to help us with Penny (5 years old - Beagle/Lab mix) and Gremlin (4 years old - Frenchie). Immediately, he was able to help them out with their sibling rivalry, barking, and walking.

I would recommend Steve for anyone, even if the price may seem expensive; it’s definitely worth it.

Michelle is absolutely amazing! She came in and helped me out with so much when it comes to my new doberman puppy Xena, even accompanying me to Petsmart to find a solution to Xena's new "trick" of climbing out of her pen.

Prior to the appointment I had addressed some concerning stories I had read on Bark Busters through online groups and she reassured me they were NOT the way she does business, and it showed in the first minute of her meeting my dogs. We have a long way to go, but I know that with Michelle's help, Xena is going to be a great companion!

Photo of Bailey Like a different dog within Dan's first visit.

Our beautiful mutt is almost 3 years of age. She is extremely loving, however we have always dealt with issues due to her high energy, like jumping very high when excited, wanting to kiss strangers, and overstimulation in general which leads to excessive pulling of her leash and loud barking. This program has dealt with it all. Dan is great at teaching you how to understand the dog vs. human thought processes, and why you need to be assertive/show control. We loved that this a torture-free, treat-free method of getting you dog to actually listen to you. From the first few hours in (less than 3) our pup started showing very different behaviors, like not launching herself after food that falls on the ground and understanding invisible boundaries. Dan is attentive and patient. He is willing to work at your own pace. Our pup seems more relax and calm after just 3 visits. She now listens and self-corrects her inappropriate behaviors. The only regret we have is not knowing and investing in this dog training program earlier, which would have saved us many headaches. Do yourself and your family a favor and call Dan. It is a life-changing decision that ultimately makes your everyday life dynamics and your pups' better, happier and healthier.

Adrienne has been fantastic for our family. We have two dogs, one has been with us for 4 years as a puppy and I had a trainer help me early on during Covid lockdown for basic things, like sit and wait and for walking and barking. We still struggled with the walking and the barking over the years. And then we got another dog from rescue earlier this year and she is about 3 years old. She was scared to go on walks on a leash and she was a barker as well. And with both dogs combined the barking was getting out of control. I had another trainer come and work on things with both dogs but the training was all treat motivated which doesn’t always work. You don’t always have treats on you and you want the dogs to listen to commands and not because they’re going to get rewarded with food each time. I was not getting good results with the training and we were still struggling with the barking and the walks.
I googled trainers that specialize in dog barking and that’s how I found Bark Busters. The first longer session we had with Adrienne, humans and dogs alike were exhausted but we amazed at the changes in just a few hours. (We unfortunately had a lot to work on! Lol) My skittish rescue was smiling, which we’d not seen her do in the months we’d had her. Adrienne’s approach is to train the humans in how to interact with our dogs in a way that leaves them feeling secure and safe and listening to our commands. Not the dogs running the show! We had never owned dogs before these two so it was a learning curve for sure, and I wished I had found Adrienne when we started but I’m grateful to have her as our trainer now. The changes in the dogs during our lessons has been full circle. And I am less stressed with them being at home with me all day while I work and they’re happier too. I was afraid to take them for walks because it was stressful for me with the tugging and the behaviors, but they are happy and learning every day now that I know how to approach it with them. I would highly recommend Adrienne to anyone that needs a great trainer!

Jeri, was very good at telling me what to do to gain control of my dogs. She showed me videos that were to assist with setting boundaries.

Photo of Tucker John was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. I didn't think Tucker was capable of listening on staying put but after one visit I see so much potential. I am excited to try all of the skills we learned! THANK YOU!!
