Could not recommend Bark Busters enough.

We called Kevin to help us with our blind 2 year old Aussie mix. He was getting the (wrong) idea that he was in charge of the house and neighborhood. Barking, lunging, pulling at the leash, guarding the front door. We were worried this would lead to a bite. Kevin showed up promptly and calmly. He efficiently sussed out the household. We have an elderly dog who is generally well behaved, but Kevin determined that we actually work with both dogs because we were basically a pack and the pack had no real leader. He taught us how to properly communicate with our dogs using dog language, and how to let them know that we are the ones in charge. The change seemed on the verge of a miracle and everything turned around for us after only one session. No crazy leash walking, no barking at dogs and humans. The house is calm and the dogs honestly seem happier. I recommend Bark Busters to friends who come over and wish their dogs behaved like ours!

Keith is an excellent dog trainer with a very calming presence. Our dog, Juno, was having issues with fearfulness, going on walks, as well as barking at passersby and when we took out the trash. He came for a 2-3 hour initial session and we immediately saw improvement with Juno. She was calmer and more responsive to us. He taught us very helpful techniques and tools that we can use in a variety of situations. He also modeled calming and consistent behavior for us to use with our dog. We are now able to much more easily walk her in the neighborhood. We also are able to do everyday activities such as taking out the garbage with Juno being much calmer and barking less. Consistency is the key to success. We appreciate Keith's follow-up and ongoing availability and tips to address issues as they arise. We highly recommend Keith!

After the 1st session with Erin and our first day going thru all of the exercises with our dogs, we have seen a big difference. We can not wait to see what the future holds for our family with these two amazing pups. We are more responsible and the dogs are more relaxed. Seems like is was an us problem, not the dogs. Thank you Erin!

Photo of Pixie Michelle was extremely knowledgeable and patient. The first session has already made such a difference in Pixie's puppy habits, and there are quite a few. I'm positive it will only get better using the training and tools Michelle has given us.

I adopted my dog, Daisy, from a shelter, and for the first couple of weeks, we didn't have any issues. After she settled in, she began to lunge and bark at other dogs. I tried several different things on my own (no harness, harness, and gentle leader) and watched countless YouTube videos with very little if any progress being made.

After over a year of this, I contacted Bark Busters since it wasn't improving and Daisy was now doing this to people on walks (and barking even more at guests in the house) as well. Chris P. was great when he first came out! He was nonjudgemental, made sure I understood everything, and helped give me back my confidence about walking Daisy. After the first meeting, the next day, we had an unfriendly interaction with another dog who had gotten away from its owner and ran-up on Daisy. It really set us sideways! Chris was great and answered my call that day when I asked for help on how to make her more comfortable and make sure I didn't reinforce any bad habits that she would develop after this interaction.

That bad interaction did set us back a bit, but after almost two months of following the training plan from Chris and four sessions with him, Daisy is lunging at about 1 of every 10 dogs she sees and has made significant progress with allowing people into the house. We can now even walk with dogs across the street from us which we hadn't been able to do since I first got her! Chris P. has made walking my dog fun again! I would highly recommend Bark Busters for anybody who has a reactive dog, is looking for long-term training help, and wants a training program that doesn't use negative reinforcers or constant treating to get the results.

Photo of Falkor Falkor acts as if he's been in training for years after this initial session. I am shocked that he has been "hiding" this good behavior and knowing how he's supposed to act for all this time. I feel good about being able to guide him to further awesome behavior.

Photo of Astro My spouse and I Javier came across several different trainer's and started working with them. It was not the best experience at all, in fact it was terrible, but the most frustrating part was not having the proper guidance for Astro. It really crushed us.. Javier and I were done! I phoned Bark Busters and told them the whole story. We had the most professional and outstanding coach ever!!! Damon we cannot stress enough how thoughtful and loving you were with Astro, he had found his COACH!!!! Finally I found a trainer that cares and is so compassionate for animals it was the BEST experience. I can now put trust, not only in a company but in the best life rewarding relationship with our Trainer!! Damon you were amazing and thorough with your lesson's that you taught us. We are so pleased to be working with such a great trainer and coach for Astro. We are looking forward to many years with you!! Thank you once again, and if anyone is struggling with issues with trying to find the right trainer or coach or even the right company. Bark Buster's is the way to go!!!

After having dogs all of my life and being able to train them without issue, my family recently adopted a dog that defied logic. How can that much destruction, mayhem, and loud never ending barking come from one small thing that looks like a teddy bear? And how do none of my previous training methodologies work? And how can I have tried 2 different trainers before Patrick and Bark Busters and still have nothing work. My life and my house had been taken over by a 14.5 lb teddy bear who was the warden and we were the prisoners and no visitations were allowed. Patrick corrected a major miscommunication error and I feel confident my home will be my home and my dinner will be my dinner and we will also have a happy not yappy, healthy dog for years to come.

We were desperate for help when we called for our first appointment. We had an Aussie Doodle puppy that was extremely nippy and difficult to manage. We also had a cat that we wanted to introduce to the puppy but we're afraid the puppy would attack her. After our first appointment, we really felt we had the tools we needed to be able to take care of our newest addition to our family.

After we worked on some of the basic training, we realized that she had some behaviors, chasing cars, that we were not aware of previously. Ben quickly returned to help us with the new behavior issues that had arisen (and recommend some other action items we had not even thought about.)

Going with Ben and Bark Buster's has been the best decision we made. Our intention was always to train Spooky as a service dog and at 5 months old, she is able to sit with me while I work, walk without pulling and has stopped nipping entirely.

    Forever grateful.
