When we rescued our girl Olive in 2020, she was very shy and timid. She was terrified to walk over manhole covers and wouldn't really take treats from us. We wanted to get a trainer who was more of a behavioralist, and we stumbled upon Bark Busters. We were matched up with Johnny and he has been so great to work with! He possesses not only a deep understanding of dog behavior but also a genuine passion for helping dogs and their owners establish a happy and healthy relationship.
PermalinkJohnny is so good at educating the owner as much as training the dog. He's always available to answer questions and provide support. For anyone seeking a knowledgeable, compassionate, and effective dog trainer, I cannot recommend Johnny highly enough. Olive doesn't think twice when crossing a manhole cover!

Bonnie is a dog whisperer!! She is truly amazing! By the end of her first visit with us, we knew it was money well spent. With a new harness and a few instructions, for the first time we were able to walk Bella instead of her dragging us. Bonnie’s clear love of dogs and training methods have helped us immensely. She has helped with everything from puppy potty training to best products to use. She is always responsive to any questions we have which always returns us with positive results. We truly believe she has helped us understand Bella and how to get her to respond to us. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs help training a puppy or dog.

Bonnie has been so helpful with training my stubborn Rottie. The techniques she has taught me have improved me and my dogs life. Bonnie is clear with communication and is quick to come by when we need a follow up. We tried other trainings before Bonnie with no results. I get instant results with the things she has taught me.

I was truly amazed at the training Jeri has provided to date. In a single 3+ hour session, I learned many tools with which to train Sadie — and myself, too. I’m looking forward to beginning our daily training activities and talking more dog 😊. I have every expectation that Sadie will be a super dog by the time we see Jeri again. Thanks, Jeri!

We have been amazed at the response from Kobe! Justin is amazing! We have had just 2 sessions with him and Kobe has been transformed into quite the puppy! No more pulling, no more jumping and today he has not followed me ANYWHERE!!

Justin has been fabulous!! Kobe has responded so well. He no longer pulls, jumps up, and just today he has not followed me anywhere! We do have a new leash which we all like. It is like we have a new dog! Thank you Justin!!

Peter was amazing and so helpful! He worked with us for 5 hours the first visit and gave us some many tools to start building our cofidence and training with Marvel. I feel so much better about getting our pup back to the fun, loving guy we know he can be.
PermalinkPeter was super patient, explained everything so well, and gave us a ton of tools for each problem area we gave him. We already see small changed in Marvel and it gives us a ton of hope. Jim was a wealth of knowledge at our training. It’s day three and our pup is already heading to the direction we are giving them. My husband and I feel a deeper connection with our dogs knowing what they need from the information Jim gave us.

Doug is amazing. After the first visit, Nugget was noticeably better behaved. We were nearing our wits end with her, but using the methods that we have learned has made all the difference. We are so grateful for Doug and Bark Busters.
