Our first session was really amazing. I've never seen Lulu more focused on me and the idea of control was very effective. Joshua was clear and extremely effective. He is very knowledgeable and provides clear guidance on how to train Lulu and what type of dog she is.

We were so discouraged and so done with our rescue, Walter. He had been with us 3 1/2 months and he still hated my husband and all men. It was non stop drama at home where he’d bark for hours, lunge and nip. We felt trapped and cheated out of what should have been a humane gesture and a new family member. Mariah with Bark Busters was a desperate attempt at peace in the house. OMG. One visit. One. And we are cohabiting so peacefully already. We will do the homework and have a follow up however we didn’t see it as possible for our home to feel like home again after the first visit however here we are, Happy.

Our family was all over the place when it came to training our dogs. I reached out to Bark Busters as I loved the idea that they would come to our home and work with us in our house. I also was impressed that they offer a lifetime commitment to helping us work with our dogs.
PermalinkJames Rodriguez is our trainer. Our first visit was reassuring. He met with our entire family & our dogs. He explained the methods (loved that they don’t use shock collars) and how those methods help us understand how dogs think.
We made the commitment and the results are very encouraging. I’ve had dogs my entire life and I recommend this method to anyone struggling with their pup’s behaviors. It works!
James is knowledgeable, calm, encouraging and our dogs love him too.

Jeri, from Collegeville, was our trainer. She came over and sat with us to talk through all the behaviors we wanted to address for our 8 yr old Puggle and 4 yr old Pitty. She came up with a training plan for us and spent time demonstrating all the different techniques to make sure we got a good handle on them. She’s been checking in via email with us since.

Jeri was terrific! From the jump she was able to give pointers and suggestions in real time as she also kept us focused on the assessment. She taught us more about our dog in the first session then traditional group training over an 8 week course. We have noticed almost immediate differences now knowing how to best communicate. Highly recommend training with Jeri!

We never felt judged or discouraged; on the contrary, Ryan's encouragement and positive reinforcement made every training session a joy.
