I've worked with animals for many years now. John was still able to teach me some new and very useful information, the training technique is brilliant and yet so simple. He can help your pup to be reached and disciplined in a very short period of time.

I work at a vets office and have been seeing fliers for Bark Busters for a while! I wanted to check them out because my own dog could use some training and I wanted to be able to reccomend them to our clients based off first hand experience. I loved it! My fiancé and I were so impressed with our personable the whole experience was. Our trainers name is Michael and I would say anyone is incredibly lucky to work with him. We are looking forward to working with our dog and applying everything we learned. We can already tell a behavior change and it even seems as our dog is happier! Lots of mental exercise! I would highly suggest giving them a call!

Justin from Bark Busters was 1,000% more than we could have hoped for. We called Bark Busters after our initial trainer recommended finding a dog behaviorist for our 8 month old male Red Heeler rescue puppy, Koa. After scouring Google, we stumbled across Bark Busters's site and are so glad we did! We rescued Koa at 5 months old and he was very anxious, nervous, territorial, protective, distracted on the leash, and clingy .... but super cute so gotta love him. An example of our issues was extreme alertness and aggressive barking anytime someone came up the stairs to our apartment, including barking at the neighbors that have lived next door for a month. Koa could not deal with strangers in the house, but with Justin's guidance we were able to correct and calm Koa down within 60 seconds. LITERALLY 1 MINUTE! Our dog went from "psycho" to calm and smiling within just 1 minute!
PermalinkJustin showed us how to correct unwanted behavior, become the pack leaders our dog needs, and keep our dog in a calm state. He showed us how to walk our pup the right way and now walks are more pleasant than we could have imagined. This training was worth every penny and I would recommend Justin (and his whole team) to anyone who needs serious help with their pups.

Kali and I had our first lesson yesterday and Bonnie was absolutely fantastic. She listen to all of my concerns, answered all of my questions and put together a manageable training plan to work on for the next few weeks. I am looking forward to seeing all the progress my pup and I make. Thank you Bonnie!

Josh was cool, calm, and collected and gave us the direction we need to correct the problem behaviors in our puppy- jumping, nipping, barking, and leash manners.

Mason came today prepared and ready to help Kai. He gave us the tools to succeed and Kai was already showing improvements. We are excited to accomplish Kai's homework and see more improvement.

I would like to start out by saying i have had 9 dobermans in my lifetime, most lived to be between 12 and 3 actually to 15 years. I thought i had seen it all. Never needed a trainer. Well our newest puppy challenged us. Our pup extreme high energy, very excitable, and out of control with puppy biting and jumping like a kangaroo. I had to resource to a trainer. No success the first 2 trainers and their methods, so we tried barkbusters. Chris, came to our home, and had immediate success on one command with our puppy, at the time 5 months old. I have to compliment the training methods suggested by Chris and barkbusters because they were successful, and totally humane. But the key as to anything is consistency. I am not going to say we are over the hump just yet since we are approaching 9 months and getting challenged daily with his new teenage doggy interests and challenges, but the overall experience was well worth it, Chris was great, and the best thing??? He is just a text, call or email away forever, and very quick to respond to our ongoing needs if necessary. highly recommend!!

Michelle with Bark Busters was exactly what we needed and more to support our pup Honeybee. Her approach to understanding our dog, her behaviors, and why was so helpful to understand what we needed to change and implement to improve her behavior. In one session we learned invaluable information that we’ll have for a lifetime. We noticed immediate changes and a happier more secure dog after one session. The lifetime support provided so much peace of mind that no matter what happens, we’ll be able to support our dog to be the best she can be. It’s made our lives more enjoyable (and quiet) and we’re so thankful for this literal life changing training. You won’t find a better person or trainer than Michelle and Bark Busters. If you want to train your dog right the first time-Bark Busters is your answer.
