We've been working with Dan from Bark Busters to train our french bulldog, Bleu.. and we couldn't be happier! From the very first session, Dan was super knowledgeable, patient and incredibly helpful. Bleu responded so well to Dan's techniques, we started seeing positive changes right away!! Dan took the time to understand Bleu's behavior and gave us clear tools and guidance to continue reinforcing everything at home. As we continue to work with Dan, we feel much more confident as dog parents now thanks to him! Highly recommend Dan to anyone looking for real results with their pup!

We highly recommend Dan from Bark Busters in Walnut Creek. We got Mr. Moose - a "mini" bernadoodle right before covid hit and think that much of his reactivity and anxiety stemmed from the shut downs. We tried some training classes, but he was really hard to walk on a leash, jumps on people and horns into our space with bumps to get pets. He was also very tough in the kitchen, counter surfing for anything he could grab - it made cooking really challenging. After our first session with Dan we could walk him easily with no pulling or darting. We also solved the kitchen problem by establishing that it was no longer Mr. Moose's space - it was AMAZING - I no longer have to cook with a baby gate around me! More recently, he taught us that we could use the same technique to get him to sleep anywhere else but our bed. We were sure that he would cry and whine, but once again we had success and we now can stretch out on our own bed! The great part of Bark Busters is that you can have Dan back as needed without paying anything additional. We are deeply appreciative to Dan for all of his common sense training (of us).

John was truly awesome! A dog whisperer if there ever was one. He was patient with my adult children and parents whom all take care of our 5 year old labradoodle Louie! I would highly recommend hiring John for any and all of your dog training needs!

I'm going to be 100% honest here. I was a bit shocked by the price and having to pay up front, but with other trainers in the area this was actually the cheaper option and didn't come with a lifetime warranty so we agreed and hoped for the best. When Doug showed up for the first training session and went over the program, I was very skeptical and thought we had wasted our time and money. The training sounded to easy to work and I thought our dogs were to stubborn and just going to ignore it. He was here for about 2 hours and we went over stay, leave it, fighting, and recall. THE CHANGES WERE IMMEDIATE!

The second session was dedicated to pulling and again we noticed drastic differences immediately in all 3 dogs! Our dogs get along much better now and we can actually take them on walks without them pulling or us having anxiety of coming across other dogs. The training plan is easy to follow and quickly became 2nd nature. I'm SO glad we went with Doug and Bark Busters. It has definitely been worth every penny!

Photo of Katie Bringing and adopting, rescue Katie, a Rough Collie, age 4.8 years old into my life 2.5 years ago from savecollies.org, has truly been a blessing in so many ways; hiring Kyle a treasured gift to us both!

We bonded from adoption! She is a definite love bug indoors with me and outdoors when on walks, at the Vet or Groomer’s, even Christmas Tree Farms is great with anyone wanting to pet or approach and loves her time at community Bark Park. Kyle noticed these traits and commented on her good girl behavior when we first met.

Enter the frustration and need for Kyle, Owner of Bark Busters Richmond, VA.

However, Katie barked at anyone, and delivery trucks in her home field vision, (from the window) and charged, jumped up and nipped at family & friends with whom she had no familiarity, her protection mode in full effect, negatively affecting our relationships. No one entering escaping her watchful protective gaze. I was at a loss.

Contacting Kyle following our serendipitous meeting at our Veterinary Office, has changed our home! Good Owners, good Dogs! As Kyle showed me and stated “You absolutely can teach an older dog new tricks and behaviors! They love to please!” Katie had been through several trainings in her previous Owner’s care receiving Certificates and Blue Ribbons, prior to being placed up for adoption due to her Owner’s passing.

Kyle began his instruction by stating and demonstrating to me in our home, new skills, behaviors and techniques which have changed Katie’s behavior for the better and for good! Kyle comes to you and your dog for life!

Katie has readily and happily responded to “Bah” looking right at me & “Good Girl” when barking is not needed for protection or redirection is needed, after our initial session!

When walking she is focused on commands from me and no longer lagging and pulling to lead after a few more Alpha techniques Kyle stated, and demonstrated. Taking the burden off of Katie and putting it on me is bringing peace to both of us!
Katie is more relaxed, smiles even more and looks to me to lead in our happier home!

Kyle shares his vast knowledge of dog training, his personal love and anecdotes of his passion for dogs !

Are you in need of a few new tricks and techniques to increase the happy in you and your dog’s home? Contact Kyle today!

Photo of Lola We have had the pleasure of working with Scott for our dog, Lola, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing! Despite only having met with Scott twice, the results have been incredible. Scott not only focused on training Lola but also emphasized the importance of training us as owners to interact with her effectively. Lola can be quite reactive which was making us nervous about having people over or bringing her in public. Scott explained how changing our interactions with her could help her feel more at ease and trust that everything is under control.

One of the most impressive moments was when Scott showed us a technique to stop Lola from pulling on her leash. Within just five minutes, she was listening and walking beautifully. It's important to note that this isn't a magic bullet; it does require effort and consistency. However, the techniques Scott taught us make perfect sense, and the progress we've seen after just two sessions and about a month and a half has been remarkable.

We truly appreciate Scott's expertise and guidance. His approach has made a significant difference in our lives and Lola's behavior. We highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for a skilled and knowledgeable dog trainer.

Sharon is truly a master at training and has taught me the importance of “speaking dog”. I have a completely new understanding of how to communicate with all of our dogs, but it’s been transformative for our new addition to Stella, who is 1. It will take a lot of practice and consistency, but I saw immediate improvement following Sharon’s visit. The dogs know I’m different. We have three, so my communication is very important. Sharon is kind, compassionate, and very patient. She has also responded to every follow-up question I’ve had and continues to offer support. I am so grateful for my experience with Sharon and love this method of training that is about the trust bond between you and your dog and not about treats or clickers! I am so glad I trusted Sharon to teach me!! I highly recommend Bark Busters Pinellas!!!
