This was a transforming experience! In 3 hrs Stella was a different dog. She became calm. This is not to say she's perfect, but the change in behavior is amazing! Within 2 days she stays right by my side while walking. It's so cute... She will look up at me as if to say "Aren't you proud of me." We still have a ways to go, but SO much better. I've already recommended you all to the lady who rescued Stella!

Both dog and owner took away practices to use everyday in our initial lesson. Saw noticeable changes right away!

Photo of Amore & Gracie My experience today was reassuring. There was a lot to learn and process. I'm hoping I can do this. It made me feel better to really see that Amore is really just a scared little dog not an aggressive dog.

Photo of Princess Theresa was very informative on training techniques for dog and owners . We are glad that we chose Bark Busters. It was a wonderful experience to learn about the history of dogs and how to train them in a loving atmosphere. We are using the training techniques now and it is beneficial to our dog. Theresa left material for further education on what we learned. We recommend Bark Busters for training dogs and owners.

Like many I adopted a COVID-19 baby. I am a firm believer in professional training. Due to the pandemic it was hard to find in person training. I opted for an online program which helped with some basics. But not overall obedience. I contacted Barkbusters to help progress Wally, now 18 months old to the next step. His separation anxiety and ease of excitement is off putting to some in my family and with the holidays approaching I needed a solution. Jef was incredibly responsive. He offered two different packages. I selected the Gold as it promotes long term success. It is also important to note I chose Barkbusters because of the method. No shock or choke collars. No treats. My first experience with dog training many years ago centered on using a choke collar to get the dog to comply. I found it to be mean and so did my dog. I have also used the sleep away camp training and although effective, it took longer for my dog to respond to me. Barkbusters teaches verbal cues and the use of body language. You have to rewire your own brain because you may have to move your vocal range from low to high quickly. But it works! After just one session I am amazed at the results. Daily behaviors I had a hard time controlling are in control. Wally responds immediately to my cue. Another note Jef trained me not Wally. You have to be willing to put in the work and then consistently reinforce the training. We are done yet. But I look forward to our next session! *Highly recommend **

Photo of Stella My dog Stella and I just began training with Amanda last week. I was amazed by the difference Amanda's techniques were able to produce even from the first session. Stella has been showing improvement already. I can't wait to see the end result. In addition, we have had some minor issues; however, Amanda was very reliable and quick to respond when I reached out. Amanda is super sweet, friendly, and works great with dogs. I would recommend her to anyone with a difficult dog.

Photo of Cody / Zack We saw great improvement even after one session. My husband and I learned a lot about our dog and how to work with him. Joshua gave us great tools to train our dog who shows lots of anxiety / aggression. With a few simple tools/ suggestions.

    Trainer Note:
Cody has fear aggression, but with mom stepping up and being a leader we started to see him for the first time relax with new people in the room. Zack likes to bark at people entering the home. He was really responsive during our first session.
