I hired Bark Bsuters for aggression issue. Orlando thought us Silas is no aggressive and showed us how to be a leader. The changes in our dogs were close to immediate and I'm confident we can have a new relationship with our dogs.

We moved from Piermont to Nyack in November 2025. My 2 year old dog became very reactive and after much advice including boarding/training I was fortunate to have Bark Busters and specifically Michelle recommended to me as a dog trainer/behavioralist by a vet tech at the vet we use. Michelle provided great training, tools and advice and made such a difference in our quality of life in our new home! I am no longer stressed when taking Dante out for walks and feel very confident based on the training and tools provided by Michelle. If you are struggling with behavioral issues with your dog please do reach out to Bark Busters/Michelle. You will not regret it!

Miguel was amazing! He was incredibly patient with my loud little Jack Russel Terrier, Guster. He gave me some good drills to work on over the next week and an easy to follow schedule. I would 10/10 recommend Bark Busters and Miguel. You won’t regret it.

We have a small cute loving albeit NOISY barker of a Havanese. She would bark at anything uncontrollably. We love to take our two dogs (our second pup is a Brussels Griffon who loves everyone) out in public with us. Our Havanese would be ok until someone else came by or talked and then she’d explode with loud shrill barks. Scaring all of us. I was afraid she was going to literally give someone a heart attack.
PermalinkMichael with Bark Busters was hired for the job of helping to solve our dilemma. We were a bit unsure after his first visit. But by day 2 after that we became believers as we saw the true transformation of our dogs behavior for the better. And now 2 months later I can tell you this is real. We have taken the information and made it work for our dogs behavior. Everyone is amazed at her transformation. And as a side note I want to stress that no harsh methods were used. The only downside is that they can be considered expensive but we are happy with the outcome!

I cannot speak highly enough of Erin's knowledge of dogs and her ability to teach owners how to successfully lead their dogs into positive behaviors. Erin understands how the mind of a dog works and how to teach owners how to communicate with their dogs in a way that dogs naturally understand (even older dogs!). Setting up a time to work with her was very easy and she is a very kind and compassionate person to owners and pets. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge so that owners and pets have the best relationship possible. Bottom line is successful dog training starts with training the owner and Erin is amazing at doing that!

We are really happy with the results of our dog training. Our dog is a mature dog not a puppy and it was challenging to correct her behavior. However Jared gave us plenty of advice and exercises to practice in order we could learn how to demonstrate our leadership and lead the dog. She is much calmer and less pushy now with her behaviors, for example no more begging for food, less whining and no more jumping on the couch without permission. We also find the format of occasional follow-up sessions very useful to maintain good behavior and help her improve. It was invaluable that Jared also brought his own dog to practice pack walks together with our dog, it was a game changer in her leash performance, paying attention to us and staying calm in close proximity to another dog.

We had our first in-home session today with Bonnie, and I couldn't be more impressed. From the moment she arrived, she was professional, friendly, and clearly very knowledgeable about dog behavior. She took the time to really understand our dog's personality, routines, and the specific challenges we've been facing. What stood out most was how patient and encouraging she was - not just with our dogs, but with us as owners as well. She explained everything in a way that was easy to follow and gave us practical techniques we could start using immediately. By the end of the visit, we were already seeing small but meaningful improvements. Highly recommend to anyone looking for personalized, effective and compassionate dog training!
